Hi everyone! Like most of you, I enjoy playing Pokemon games and finishing the storyline. But when I’m done with anything mandatory, I tend to start roaming for very... special Pokemons. More precisely, Pokemons that enter battle with a rain of sparkles.

 

Shiny Pokemons! Who dosn’t like shiny Pokémons? Not only they’re flashy, but some of their alternate colorations are absolutely stunning. Take shiny Charizard or shiny Virizion, for example. So here is a list of cards who features these sparkly and insanely rare or expensive Pokémons!

P.S. Please note that the data may be incorrect and that I may have missed a few cards, as I had to manually scroll through the whole list of cards of PTCGO and some of my brain cells may have been fried in the process. It is also difficult to tell visually what is shiny and what is not, such as in Meowth’s or Pikachu’s case. Feel free to comment anything that I didn’t cover!

I agree shiny pokemon are some of my favorite pokemon in the game! Thanks for posting up this list. Its really helpful for looking up which pokemon cards have shiny versions!

Yeah I hope FL has some new shiny pokemon and alternate colorations also. I'm really excited about the new Greninja-GX card that is coming out in FL. Greninja was my favorite pokemon from the XY series and its nice to see he is making a comeback in the Sun & Moon TCG series.
