There are going to be card design changes in gen 8?

When the pokemon Sun & Moon expansion was announced we noticed that the cards design changed.The question is:there are going to be changes in the upcoming generation 8 cards?                                                                                                                                                             Comment your guesses!

I'd be surprised if there were no changes to card design in whatever follows SuM. What they'll be though, I couldn't guess.

Here is a small collection of changes that have been made to cards over time:

 

Base set- "shadowless" cards, normal stuff.

E-reader sets (beginning with aquapolis)- weird yellow stuff on the side. (for the e-reader to read)

Ex-sandstorm- e-reader jazz moved to bottom.

Hidden Legends: goodbye, e-reader.

Diamond and Pearl: weird dots removed.

HGSS: weird yellow outline, cool card backgrounds

Call of Legends: change to yellow outline.  Increased size of energy symbols on attacks.

Black and White: border restored to plain yellow.

Emerging Powers: rev hols changed.

SuMo: general redsign.

 

Just based on that, I'd say it's likely.  But who knows?  They didn't change anything for XY.

maybe no changes black and white to xy because Black and white was the perfect set, more than any of early
