Is it possible to make trades with more than 99 cards? > (It seems limit is 100, solved)

I've read 99 is the limit and a lot of times I see trades for 99 cards or packs or mix.

 

So just curious I tried to make an offer getting and adding 99 and... still able to add 100, 101...

 

Maybe it says to you 99 is the limit after you push DONE?

 

Or is it no limit? Is just 99 for equal cards/packs? Limit is other? There's no limit?

 

Could anyone throw some light about this?

You can't add more than 99 copies of the same card / pack to a trade. Which makes trading stuff that is worth 100+ packs a bit annoying.

Other than that you are free to create a trade for as many cards / packs / gameplay items as you desire.

So, I could add 99 Magikarp and still 99 more Feebas and make a 198 cards trade

 

Or 1000 different cards.

 

Is this proven?

 

I don't think I need to do that but it's nice to know the possibilities (of the game)

You used to be able to ASK for more than 100 items, but could not OFFER more than 100 (i.e. Packs) for them.
 
Not sure of the exact timeframe, but a couple months ago, they changed it.  You can't have more than 100 items on either side.
 
BTW, the limit is 100, not 99.  The counter (+/-) quits at 99, but you can drag and drop another one for an even 100.
 
This is the dialog box if you try...
 

The server encountered an error while trying to create the trade lot:  This offer exceeds the limit of cards allowed in a trade.  Please remove cards until you have 100 or fewer on each side.

Trying, I've been able to add the 101 on asking side... that's why I came!

Oh, you can put together a trade, asking for 10,000 items.  But as soon as you hit the 8-Hour Button to submit it, you'll get that warning dialog box, so it's a wasted exercise.

 

 

P.S.  I don't understand their logic for changing the limit a couple months ago, but that's what we're stuck with.

You know, they change a lot we do not understand. I find it problematic that the reasons are not explained to us. If I knew why something was changed, I could probably accept it. But that's just frustrating

It's horrible when you've already done all the search and when DONE, and choosing time, you realize that you missed something so... You're forced to set the trade for 8/24/48 or loose all the work done.

 

Changing this would be a nice modification, just go back and change the trade, not loosing everything. Have been this solicited ever?

 

Thanks for the info. Although could be another way, I'm probably not going to try and not planning to make 300 cards trades anyway. To me, doubt is solved

Yeah, I've done this more times than I like to admit.  You put together a trade with a lot of cards, but when you hit the Done button (and the 8/24/48 box comes up), you remember, "I forgot such and such.."  But it's too late.  If you hit Cancel (Red X), you can't modify any longer; and it just goes away.  You cringe, "Oh man, I've got to remember all that again."

 

It would be a nice modification if they added an Edit option at that point.  Better yet, maybe they could come up with a Template system, with saved trades?

well as of now because the last time i used this a month ago when i payed 1200 gr for deoxys vivid set the only possible way is that you send the person you want to trade with the offer then they counter for how many packs they want.
