Game rating every format (read text to understand)

Since a long time i heard people talking they would like a ranking system to know who is the best..

 

And i have a solution to solve this problem..

 

When i play pokemon on 3ds, all players have a rating and when we win we up and when we loss we go down..

 

I know he haves a ELO system who is invisible in the game..

 

But i think the elo or rating system whatever should be visible.. So we could see people with the best rating on the siteweb or in the game..

 

I am not sure what is the ELO system, but they should make a rating system.. like we start at 500 or 1500 , and we go up or down.. and we try to get the higher possible..

That is, in a rather simplistic term, the exact thing the ELO rating is used for.

so they should put it visible.. i think a lot competitive player would be happy.
