Collection Percentage- nonexistent?

Recommended Posts

SuperStone

Pardon me if anyone has already pointed this out, but I couldn't find any such threads when I looked.

It appears that the statistic displaying the percentage of possible cards a player owns has been disabled or is not displaying.  As far as I can tell, it has been completely removed.  As this is an important part of many people's trading decisions, I hope this can be resolved with rapidity. :)

Hello SuperStone,

I replied on this when the change went out here: http://forums.pokemontcg.com/topic/53516-ipad-app-no-longer-shows-complete-in-collection-stats-tab/?p=574508

The % complete was not accurate.  Additionally, it was confusing in that there was no feedback about what it meant or how it was calculated.

We know that some would like more information on collection stats, but currently building out those features is not a priority. To reduce confusion, it was removed.

Thanks in advance for your understanding.

Okay.  But would it be possible to bump it up a little on the priority list?  I mean, I don't have the time to go through all the cards in the game and calculate it myself.

Hi SuperStone,

As we have mentioned previously (for example, see http://forums.pokemontcg.com/topic/52855-development-update-version-245-reducing-bugs-and-special-challenges/) we're focused on correcting bugs and improving the robustness of the game.  We still have a ways to go on the bug reduction front, as our Known Issues list still numbers just over 50: http://forums.pokemontcg.com/topic/53517-246-known-issues-aug-23-2017/

Honestly, if you could only change or improve one thing, would it be collection statistics?  What about chat? Or Trade? Or end game (such as larger tournaments, ladders, ranking, etc.)?  Or helping the many new players bridge the gap from pre-constructed (theme deck) to constructed deck play?  All along the way we have many new cards to implement (and not break the existing cards doing so), such as the recently announced Shining Legends expansion: https://www.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-news/give-your-deck-a-shiny-new-look/

So, all that is to say, we're pretty busy.  I appreciate your interest in better collection systems and statistics though, but to help set your expectations, I don't know that it will make the cut in the near future.

Thank you again for your understanding and for being part of our game's community.

Very well; I was just asking.  It seems like it wouldn't take very long to develop, but I am of course not a programmer, so I wouldn't know.  I apologize if I came across as sounding entitled; that was not my intention.  Sorry about that.

Would if be possible to get an estimate on how long it would take on the off-change the team decided to do it, or is it one of those things you can't know until you start?

But anyways; you asked a question. :D If there was literally only one thing I could change...  Honestly, that's not a very hard one for me.  I'd put in an opt-in chat system without can.  After that, though, bug fixes are next.

I understand you're busy, and I do agree that statistics should be lower-priority than gameplay.  So I guess the best I can say is good luck, Samhayne.
