Every deck that is able to carry me through the whole process of climbing the Versus Ladder, is worth to be considered as The Real Recipe For Success.

Because caring is sharing, i will be presenting you various deck that occasionally helped me reach the 2000 points checkpoint.

The reason i will be doing this, is because i would like to discuss with each and every one of you the technique of grinding.

Feel free to share your decks with me and who knows, if they will really help me then i might add them to the corresponding list.

Let the grinding begin!

Trashalance

It's been a while since i've found a deck that i'm actually having fun playing with.

When Garbodor enters the battlefield along with a member from the Eeveelution clan, you know that things are going to get serious.

So, what do you people think?

Because caring is sharing,

I say it "because sharing is caring."  That way, with shusht a little bit of lishp, we can say Cheren is Karen.

And Pokémon puns make me happy.

I'd be curios about your win rate with each successful deck, as well as your average game length with said decks.

With the new streak bonus and rewards for taking prize cards, the determining factor of climbing the ladder is still the same: Time.

Well as of this moment of writing, this version of Trashalance holds this record:

Overall Wins: 69

Overall Played: 111

Biggest Win Streak Achieved: 7

Please note that i'm a person that will concede immediately if there's no actual reason to continue a painful match.

The new ladder cuts down time needed for its completion at 1/3.

I don't know in Standard or Expanded format, but Legacy and Theme can get your streak running long enough that you make 300 points in like 2 hours of play. Under the condition you run a meta deck or use Hidden Moon respectively :P

Crystal Flash Ray

Have you ever felt intelligently superior towards to your opponent?

Well, even up to this day there are people who don't read the opponent's cards.

With that being said, Glaceon and Jolteon accompanied me with great success on my quest to climb the Versus Ladder by locking down the helpless ones.

Give it a try people, trust me.

Sounds like a plan.  Especially for the Legacy Format, where it is often less "What is the new deck?" and more "What is the current metagame?".

For deck submissions, do you want them via PM or posted here?

Plea

Have you ever felt the need to troll your opponent's strategy (not the person) and grind fast while you are at it?

Well, then this deck is made for you  :)

Fast Raid

Do you maybe feel like donking?

Then i need to say no more, build this deck and dominate

(No Mudbrays were hurt during the build of this deck)

Land's Judgement

A deck that really helped me grind pretty fast in the post-genting era.

One of the best decks in my opinion.

Build them today, thank me later  :)

I think I need to build my collection a bit more. I would love to try out some of these decks.

Don't mods and devs get a full collection of locked items in the game o.0 ?!?!

Night March / Bee Revenge

What does kill me, only makes me stronger and your opponent will find out in the worst possible way.
One of the most dominating and hated at the same time decks of all time.
You know that this deck meant serious business when you could see a lot of threads back in the day flooding the forums about wishing its demise.

Trust me, it never gets old so go on and dominate.

My question is: Muscle *****

* Sycamore and 3 DVs? 4 Shay?

Each to his own...

I like the inclusion of AZ, but as it stands, that deck auto-loses to Karen and Hammer decks.

Puzzle of Time should help.

Ah, NMvesps.  Powerful as Emcharizard.  Fast as Turbodark.  Matchup-versatile as Mew-EX.  And hated as...  Well, Night March.

But it can run into some late-game problems against smart opponents.  To paraphrase a Pooka & Jwittz commentary, there are some things that Night March/Vespiquen can't run that NM usually really likes to have.  That's what happens when you're playing two decks.

I used to run a budget version of the Night March when i couldn't afford any Shaymin EX but this version is probably the most consistent that has passed from my hands.

In the end of the day, it's up to you if you will edit it or not  :P

For those of us who still can't afford Shaymin EX (like me :( ), what would you suggest replacing the Shaymin with?

Max out on Sycamore and N.

Oranguru for small draw and N recovery.

Run Dowsing Machine, not Computer Search.

I recently got crushed by a Shaymin-less NM/Vesp who ran two Mew EX. Recommended.
