Game frozen on run

  • I run PTCGO and it sits at one screen. The words "Please wait, checking for update..." are all I see.

I have gone to programs and features and tried to "repair" PTCGO

I have Windows 10 and I am on a laptop

I have uninstalled and reinstalled

Nothing has worked

Please help!

It sounds like your internet connectivity do not have the required ports open, or that a firewall (or virus protection) are blocking the game's traffic.

 

That's just my hunch from the info you provided.  "Please wait, checking for update..." should be coming up at the very start of a new install when the game is contacting the server to see if there is a new version.  If your game's computer can't talk to the game server to find out, then it will stall at that step.

Any tips for iPad? The white screen covered with poke balls freezes and when I come back ten minutes later it's just on the same screen. Please HELP!
