I have built a deck with fire Pokémon and lightning Pokémon to resist attack from water types but one of the lightning Pokémon harms all the other Pokémon. Is there a poke power to stop "friendly fire". The card is Jolteon lv 43 from rising rivals in 2009 26/111

Unown is good for Vespiquen decks, and for some variants of Rainbow Road, where another Psychic Type is unavailable. It essentially shrinks your deckspace, allowing you to run through your deck and find what you need. Vespiquen pairs well with it, because it gives you an extra 10 damage, 40 if all are in your discard. It also synergises nicely with Reserved Ticket, and AT Swampert, to draw what you want that turn. It isn't necessarily a staple in every deck, but it could be a substitute for Octillery and Shaymin, but both of these outclass Unown in most aspects.

There is a Mr. Mime card in Plasma Freeze, Breakthrough, and Generations which prevents all damage done to your Benched Pokemon by attacks, if thats what your looking for. However, this still doesn't affect abilities, like Giant Water Shruiken

Xerneas Break is a very good card to pair with M Gardevoir (Brilliant Arrow) . They have a similar attack, and thus synergise pretty well.

The M Gardevoir from STS requires a whole new method to play, so unless you can obtain 3 Hoopa EX, and 2-4 Shaymins, only use it as a tech for against M Mewtwo Y.

Octillery will be able to help for now, but Shaymins are overall better for Gardevoir decks, as they're based around speed, which is what Octillery lacks.

As for your current decklist, I suggest taking the 2 Giovanni's, as you will be able to quickly accelerate damage with Geomancy from Xerneas, and be able to OHKO other Pokemon easily. The extra 20 damage is just overkill :/ Giovanni is also outclassed as a draw supporter by basically all of them, plus Octillery, as it doesn't use up the supporter for the turn. Therefore, replace the Giovanni's for Breaks. Other than that, looks good :)

I having some trouble with vespiqueen and eeveelution deck. Previously i was using yanmega break + vespiqueen but the presence of garbador is so annoying. So i replaced the whole yanmega break line into eeveelution and 2 lines of zebstrika. But i still felt like it always have dead hand so often. Could you help me to take a look for it?

Eeveelutions is probably what is clogging up your deck. Whilst the opportunity to do weakness damage, and fuelling Vespiquen can be enticing, how are you going to do extra damage when you can't attack?

i myself play a Vespiquen-Yanmega Break deck, which runs a 4-4-3 Yanmega line, and a 4-4 Vespiquen line. You don't need the Eeveelutions, because Yanmega already does 100 damage to everything (and the Break evolution negates it's status as a Stage 1, thus negating Eeveelutions), and Vespiquen can OHKO most things late game, without needing weakness. If you're worried about Garbodor, which is a very real threat, you have to either Lysandre it out as a Trubbish, and KO it before it evolves, or if its already out, just discard as many pieces of Yanmega Break as you can, and focus on Vespiquen. Here is my decklist for Yanmega Break-Vespiquen

As for Vespiquen-Zebstrika, I also play that as well :) However, I only use Zebstrika as a counter to M Rayquaza, or Yveltal-Garb decks. If I'm not playing against one of those, they are just used as fuel for Vespiquen. I also use a Garb of my own, to potentially lock them before they can play their Shaymins, etc. Here's my decklsit for Vespiquen-Zebstrika

Since we're talking about stadiums, and the Jolteon you have mentioned isn't in the Standard Format, called "Mountain Ring" This prevents bench damage in total from attacks, so no benched pokemon can be hit by attacks. However, likewise with Mime, abilities can still hit the bench, such as Giant Water Shruiken

Do you have a idea how to build a plasma tdk deck for extended instead of legacy?

Sorry, I don't play with TDK, and I don't think I've ever come against it. But, hypothetically, you probably could make an expanded version rather than a legacy version

Thanks !

It looks to me that you have a lot of pieces to make a good Gyarados deck. Try and obtain 2-3 more Gyarados (one with Full Retaliation) and try and save up for that deck. It is a very good deck which is quite popular at the moment. You should find numerous deck ideas on the Internet (just search up ancient origins gyarados deck). I must warn you though, the Team Magma's Stadium is quite expensive, so try entering tournaments with theme decks, and save the packs to get that. If you need help, I can give you one Gyarados if you want it :)

so I've ben using either this deck or a form of it, add/subtract Machamp-EX/Sceptlile... But pretty much this is the base... Been having issues with the Genja deck, but besides that I can pretty much hang/beat anything out there... I'm also looking to try and see how I can add to this deck to make it better for extended.

4-4 Ariados line is wayyyy too many. You could probably cut a Shay and a Break as well. You could also probably run a different stadium, because hopefully Raticate Break is out by the time ariados is out. Skyla isn't that necessary in a Raticate Break deck. If you want to include a Machamp EX, try making a seperate deck, then testing it out, because even though they synergise nicely, Raticate can't get access to fighting support, such as Carbink Break, and Strong energies. Same with Sceptile- Sceptile gets access to Revitaliser, as well as M Sceptile which can fully heal any damaged pokemon. I used to run Raticate Break with a Cobalion STS tech to either stall a turn, or to deal a huge amount of damage late game, when Raticate is in the prizes. You should run 4 copies of N, 4 copies of Sycamore, 4 ultra balls, 4 VS Seekers. Get rid of the Evosodas, and 3 Wallys. Ultra Ball is better, because then you can search out any pokemon, including Shaymin. Wally takes up your supporter for the turn, which is usually dedicated to Sycamore, N, or Lysandre. Put in some Trainer's Mail as well for consistency. Also, I would prefer 2 Super Rods over the Brock, for the same reason of not taking up your supporter.

I took your advice and changedthings on the items aspect around. Kept the 4-4-4 though, did go down to 2 Shaymin's though. Now I'm able to run through most my deck to get everything which is way helpful.

I still think the Ariados line is too much. You would only need a 2-2 line, as it is only a tech. Replace 2 Spinaraks and an Ariados for 3 Trainer's Mail. This adds so much consistency to your deck, adding another method to possibly search out a Sycamore/N. Also I don't think Sky Field is necessary. I would play Parallel City instead, to limit your opponent's bench when playing M Rayquaza and Rainbow Road, or to lower their damage output if theyre playing a water, fire, or grass deck.

Tried to clean up my post a little and the formatting went crazy and every attempt to fix it just makes it worse. Sorry. :( See the post below.

The initial formatting issues are still there unfortunately. The half asterik pokemon is 2x Team Plasma Zapados and the trainer card that's having issues is 3x Sky Field.

Hello, Newbie player here, though I tend to learn games pretty quickly. I've been playing a bit initially to get my son started, and then as tends to happen, I end up taking an interest too. In any case, here's what I'm working with currently (Kinda working off an article about a popular Team Plasma deck utilizing Kyurem and tweaking it to fit what I have available).

Offense is quite good when I can get it up and running. Absol seems to work ok, but not great, against Regice/Carbink etc. Seems my best improvements would be anything that gets me up and running more quickly as the majority of my losses are as a result of wasting several turns not getting helpful cards while my opponent gets set up. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Look to the item cars I use. Can get my deck started quick... Almost to the point that I deck myself... It's came to single digit card left a bunch of times.

Apologies, but as I said, I'm pretty new to this. How can I see what item cards you use?

Look at 3-4 post before your post she you posted your deck

I see, thanks for the response. It looks like a good setup, but the requirements of our decks are quite different. My deck really looks to utilize team plasma cards to their fullest. As such, I need item cards to support that.
