Reshiram&Typloshion/Reshiram&Emboar

This questinon (or topic) isn't really about the Deck buillder, it's more of a 'real life' question (or topic)

Can some please give me a deck list of what cards are in this two sets also which one would you say is better in terms of strenght and a quick set up. Also I was thinking that there's no point of collecting the cards for the Reshiram and Typlosionn deck because when the next rotation comes it will become un-usable. What do you people think of this?

And one last question; is there any Zekrom counterpart for this deck?

Thanks for taking your time to read this.

Im sorry but i don't have a clue what deck your talking about. Is it old? Or is it new?

The two decks I'm talking about are new, the Reshiram&Typlosion deck mainly uses the B&W Reshiram and the HGSS Typlosion prime. The Reshiram&Emboar uses the B&W Reshiram and the B&W Emboar (Sadly I don't know which one (Ability or non ability?))

EDIT: they are also known as ResiPhow and ReshiBoar

Zekrom is being used in a lot of electric decks or sometime even its on deck.

The basic stratigy with ReshiPhow is to get a resharim and typloshion prime in play, attach a DCE and a fire energy to resharim, and use Blue Flare. U can use it over and over again cause of Typhlosion Primes Pokepower after b/u/r/n/e/rwhich allowes you to get a fire energy from your discard pile and put in your hand. repeat and win. Reshiboar uses ability emboars ability to keep attaching energy to resharim to use blue flare. I hoped I helped. ;)

BTW, google reshiboar and click on the six prizes article. It is pretty good.

Thanks, that site really helped me!

I think I'll get Reshiboar as I'll mainly have to get B&W packs but if i get ReshiPhow i have to get HGSS and B&W packs.

Also what other card would be usefull in this Deck, I was thinking Duel pokeball (or what ever its called) will really help but what other cards do you recomend?

And what would a good 'wall' be in this set? (to set Emboar up)

Another one of these decks.

I know its a very strong deck and has a good chance of winning but people need to be more creative.

Just another clone out there.

reshiploshin > reshiboar incase you are wondering

its also a top tier deck thats played alot you can probably just go to sixprizes.com and look it up ^.^

in reply to the zekrom part there is a zekrom deck but it isnt as nearly as effective as reshiploshin

it uses zekrom/shaymin/pachrishu

How is reshiphlosion better than reshiboar?

Reshiboar can easily beat reshiphlosion, reshiphlosion puts damage on their reshirams so reshiboar can annihilate them.

Hey!

i am trying to build the Reshiboar deck in real life but i dont have any emboars with the ability embarassed_smile.pngand unfortunatly nobody to trade with easily so i was wondering if there are any other pokemon with the same ability (or same effect) that i could use instead...

I also only have 10 fire energies. Is there anyway to get them except buying a deck?

Thanks teeth_smile.png

You could make the typlohsion prime version of this deck but other then that you can just hope to get really lucky with booster packs.

but I understand your problem; I'm trying to build this deck in real life to but i only have 1 reshiram and I need 4 also I don't have anyone to trade with

As for your energy problem i'd recomend just getting the emboar deck because you'll get the energies, tepigs and pignites you need. Also if your lucky you might get one fire energy in a booster.

Good Luck!!!!

 • 5 months later...

I would recommand TyRam over Reshiboar because with emboar's high retreat it being catchered out is a risk also i find that tyram is a faster deck to play but both are amazingly power and fun

I recommend using ReshiBoar instead of ReshiPhlosion (or TyRam), because there is no recoil damage for the Energy attachment, and you could return discarded Energy with cards like FIsherman or Energy Retrieval. The flaw is Emboar's Retreat Cost, but Switch can return Emboar to the Bench.

About the Zekrom deck, I suggest you try it out. It's possible for you to win on the first turn with it, because those Pokemon are all Basic, while Typhosion Prime and Emboar Ability are both Stage 2. With a lucky draw, you could win (Zekrom starts as Active, then, if you get the first turn, play Pachirisu and attach 2 Electric Energy. Then, play Shaymin and use Celebration Wind to move both Energy to Zekrom. Play one more Energy to Zekrom, and you'll be able to use Bolt Strike to KO almost all Pokemon.
