Global Link Help?

Dear Moderators or anyone who can help me,

 

I cannot get in to the pokemon global link. I have not gotten in once but it keeps saying that it needs to be "refreshed" or something and cannot let me in for 24 hours. I have tried to wait 24 hours and it still won't let me in. It lets my brother's White game get in just fine. Is it because we are using the same DSi to do it or is my game defective or what?

 

 

 

I cannot even sync anymore. I could the first time (before dream world came out) and it got all my info in just fine. But I can't update it. Like I had 3 badges and now I have 5 but I can't sync it so it won't show it.

Tranier Name in game: Amber (not my name in real life)

 

Country: USA

OK, answering for mods (hope this is the right answer whatchutalkingabout_smile.png) a lot of people have seemed to have this problem, if not for the global link, it's for the dream world. the mods say that since the global link is getting a ton of attention that many people are trying to get on at the same time, thus what they say on the global link is true: they are needing to take quite some time to actually get it working. i waited for over 25 hours to get in. hope this helps - Mew

Thanks a ton for trying to help. :) I am very grateful. Here's the thing though. I can't get in and then my brother tries and he gets in just fine with his White game. Does that make any sense?

All I can think of is..... OH! did you get your game sync info? of not, on your title screen before you press continue game, scroll down and you should see something called game sync info, get that and then create you GL account (bet you've already done that though) Other than that, I am at a loss. Mods, help O.o P.S. no need to be so formal on the forums, it sounds like your royalty, pretty funny.

Quite a few people have been having this issue. We've got several teams working to figure out what's going on. Could you describe what's happening in a little more detail? Like what kind of message you're receiving? I'd like to get to the bottom of this |:]

Hi professor Snow

 

 

 

I am Starfire's brother and what has been happening is that we keep trying to use my ds (only one hooked up to internet) to use game snyc when acessable, but it would work fine for me, but not for her all it is saying is that it ran out of jucie even though she hasn't used it yet. So I don't know what is up and i am wondering if u can only use one game or profile (gl) per one ds.

That happened to me I had to wait a full two days for it to fix itself.

 

 

 

As for the one DS I'm sure the Pro will know.

I do not know but it may be because of the same ds. I can also think of DO U USE THE SAME EMAIL ADREESS. Or in ur Computer do u Log in on the Same coumputer account?

Let's see...try letting your sister use the PGL first then see if you can use it after her. this will help confirm whether it's a shared DS issue or just a PGL issue.

If you guys are having any sort of issues with the global link, the most efficient way for us to respond to your issue is to head over to Support.pokemon.com and ask a question, then go ahead and give us all the details such as:

 

 

 

-Nature of the issue at hand

 

-Game Sync ID

 

-Global Link NickName

 

-Version of Pokemon you are using.

 

The support team will do its best in order to try and help you resolve your issues!

We had but it didn't work?

 

 

 

Does anyone know if when u transfer internet stuff to a ds lite will it use wpa cause mine is connected that way.

DS Lites only use WEP settings, could that be what's causing the issue? Are you guys changing the clock on your DS or switching to different ones? (if you haven't, DON'T!)

What do u mean by switching the clock?

 

And the only ds that has been used for game snyc is mine.

 

 

 

 

She means to not adjust the system clock for your DS settings. If you change the timezone or internal clock for your system it can throw the entire PGL connection out of wack. If you haven't, great! If you have, then please check out this knowledge base article from the Pokemon.com customer support section.

Dear Everyone Who Has Replied To This Thread,

 

I have to thank everyone for replying and trying to help me. I am so grateful. heart.gif

 

 

 

Aloeb and I have come up with a theroy we are going to try tomorrow. There are 3 (advanced) connections you can set up so we were gonna try to set up another connection and have me play on the 2nd one and see if that works. I'll update soon on how that works! That may be to answer to my problems!
