Ok, so if I were to delete my save for any reason, would the data be erased from the site? Or does it keep the same GL code? Does anything happen to the current code registered to my GL account?

Good question. And good luck geting someone with an answer. Since it seems like it's based upon game card and not specifically the save data, I believe everything would remain.
