this deck is so popular in standard now.

I never would have guessed that an evolution deck would be so playable.  

 

I ended up playing several matches in expanded mode last night because I was sick of seeing it.

 

yes, I have a build of it too... but gee whiz.

I actually am disappointed , I expected it to be more common and popular, for me at least i rarely encountered it in Standard ..... I have made it too but only played a few games with it, on the other hand Raticate Break performed really really good for me ! too bad it didn't get as popular as I'd hoped .....

I must have been unlucky.  seemed like every other person I played was using it.  several games in a row in fact.  I started using sceptile-ex just to counter it's weakness because I knew it was coming.

I've seen it quite a bit too. Garchomp variations seem to be pretty popular too though if not more popular. For me personally I have enjoyed a lot of success with Darkarai-EX + energy switches and max elixirs. Though one game I used Espeon-EX's Miraculous Shine and killed a Garchomp(well Gabite or Gible) that had retreated to bench. That was pretty unexpected too, I didn't read the card fully. It even hits benched Pokemon not only the active!

i seen it a bit and i built it on day 1 of release and its a very good deck, however it  does get boring very easy and quite time-consuming and clicking so many times to use ability's can make your fingers ache after playing for over 2 hours with it. the deck can be continuously strong that why its shown so much but it does have quite a few weaknesses too.

Yeah I think that challenge caused a lot of people to start playing the deck. Once Monday came, I started seeing it only about add much as garchomp.
