Deck building sites

Hi! I recently started playing the tcgo and I wonder if there exist a site or sites with deck lists that others have made? Both good decks or just-for-fun decks. I've been playing hearthstone for a while and there is this site that gives you ideas of what to biuld. I would for example see what kind of water decks there are and what trainers and pokemon I should look for. I looked for a similar topic on the forum but couldnt find anything and I've googled as well. Edit: I couldnt post the site name :/

this site gives good dieas. there is a place called: pokedecks. but if you tell us what type of deck your making and show us the deck we can help with it.

cause with ptcgo its about what will help with winning and there is some about how to use the best of a set type of pokemon. its mostly about what you want to use to conformable about using.

like me i am psychic and dark. now trying out fighting decks. i found that these 3 types are actually useful to me and helpful.

Hi!

You can't post external links here so that could be why xd Anyway, the only site that comes to mind right now would be sixprizes, but I know there are others. I'm sure the other members here can tell you what the others are.

I could suggest that you start playing in the theme format for now. It would help you familiarize yourself with the game mechanics before you move on to understanding deck building.

Currently the best decks you could start with are xy blue and xy green, which are very strong and free, or Dark Hammer or Iron tide if you want to invest some tokens (there are other good ones but these are a good starting point).

When you feel ready to take the leap to Standard you can start with good budget decks (if you google "budget decks pokemon tcg" you'll find some good suggestions). Nightmarch / vespiqueen variants are all pretty good and AT Medicham is also good.

Well anyway, welcome to the game and welcome to the forums.

Thanks for your answer Xensor! Is pokedecks a tumbler? (misspelled on purpose for external link thing) Because thats all that google shows.

Also I too like psychic and dark. I just made my first deck for a challenge in the game where you have to deal like 3000 damage using water pokémon. The deck consists of high energy cost basic cards such as Articunos and Wailord EX so my trainer cards are mainly cards that let me draw cards. It works fine so far but I just got around to play so I believe that I get paired against other noobs such as myself lol.

Thanks for answering so thorough!

I have been playing a lot when I was younger (pokemon play it ver 1 on pc) and Ive updated myself by reading on websites what changed since then and I've been playing against the game for the last week so I consider myself not that much of a noob but still I'm certain that I could do things better. The only thing I'm uncertain of is if I'm making a good deck since I'm terrible at it in hearthstone.

Thanks for the theme suggestion though. Will try it out. :)

Hey, you're welcome man. Something else you could do if you're experimenting with building decks, is that once you've got a deck that you feel confident on you can post your decklist in the Deck Construction section of the forums.

In that section you can gather specific advice on your deck from all the members in the forums. I've posted a few decklists before myself and the suggestions I've recieved have always helped me improove my decks. So feel free to go ahead and use it when you feel ready.

yes i found it from searching up a machamp ex deck. its not always up to date with some cards but i gotten some ideas from it. i gotten a lucario, machamp, mewtwo/metal type decks from it. but as i said some of em i modified tho.

i am not to crazy about it but it works. was better then some. some of em don't even try to give a idea of what the deck is for or how to use it. like my machamp deck. using the grass with posion ability to poison both poke then boom ohko ex cards with the machamp 80+ and muscle band on it.

but yea google with this doesnt bring up many sites tho. which does stink cause i know allot of people here are getting tired with the same deck so they want to make a new one to change things up.

The Charizard Lounge

You 2be (had to spell that way for censoring, try Pookas old channel ["The Top cut" or something)

For competitive play, deck builds and analysis, I mainly use Pokebeach. 60cards, Sixprizes and Propokemon are pretty good too but you need to pay to access their articles...bummer.

I use PokeBeach, Sixprizes, and 60cards. The best part about SixPrizes is that they open up old articles that you would usually have to pay for. Since I play in the HS-BLW format alot, I get to view those articles for free.
