Since there is mega evolution, will there by giga, tera, exa,,,etc...

As long as it isn't added to the TCG, I'm fine with it. But idk if they will have a new Evolution scheme with each new series of games....

Giga evolution could be an add on to mega evolution. If the Pokemon known as Garchomp mega evolved and then evolved again into giga evolution, it could reach legendary level status for a few turns. In order to equal out the outburst of "giant" power, the special evolution could run out after two or three turns and then return Garchomp (or any other Mega evolved Pokemon) back to its original form. If the battle was not won, a finishing blow could be given to the tired out Garchomp.

Tera evolution, unlike giga evolution, closely mixes with Pokemon. Tera mean means monster and Pokemon translates to Pocket Monster. Instead of using mega evolution to give boosted stats to first stage Pokemon like Dunsparce and Emolga, tera evolution could give them a stat boost while also coinciding to there inspiration or Pokedex definition. To prevent confusion or backlash, tera evolution could be given a description that makes up for Pokemon like Mega-Audino.

Finally, exa (meaning six in Greek) could be used as a form instead of evolution (as there are no Pokemon that can evolve five times at the moment). Furthermore, it is kind of Farfetch'd to think of tera evolution as a continuation of giga evolution because giga evolution would already be pushing some delicate boundaries by increasing mega evolution's powers. Basically, I can't think of a use for exa (can anyone else?).

To sum up, giga evolution could theoretically bring more power to mega evolved Pokemon while tera evolution would give power to first stage Pokemon that cannot evolve. Giga evolution being giant and tera being monstrous. I am really interested in this idea. Does anyone want to discuss it further or tell me where I could be wrong in my thinking (that includes you, Systemlore)?

If they did do this, I would want to be able to take 3-4 prizes for it.

Now that I think of this, a Giga Wailord would be like 400-500 HP. X_X

Tera wailord EX: 950-1200 HP -- 4 prizes

My post was aimed toward the anime and video game not the trading card game.

Inevitably, if it happens in the VG, it will happen in the TCG as well

Hmmmm. I see that as flawed logic coming from the Pokemon Company because not every evolution from the PTCG game makes it into the anime or game (for example, Break evolution). Furthermore, EX Pokemon do not exist in the anime or video game from what I have seen. The Pokemon Company International should work on that continuity problem a little bit.

I didn't say that anything in the TCG must be in the VG as well. So far EX, LV.X, LEGEND mechanics, primes, and BREAKs have demonstrated as much. Only that anything that happens in the VG happens in the TCG

The trading card game is based on what is in the video games, not the other way around. What happens in the trading card game stays in the trading card game; what happens in the video games will be added to the trading card game if that makes sense.
