[PC] Other - "Net::ERR_Cert_Common_Name_Invalid" error on website

I am not sure where to put this, but I am extremely worried over this. Today, I was using the forums as usual, took a break, came back, clicked on the page, an a security warning from my browser came up. A message came up saying that my network is not private, and that someone may have been trying to steal my information from pokemon.com. I restarted my computer, and it worked normally. Is this some kind of error with my computer, or is my account and information in danger? I believe I have a secure network and computer, if anyone could help me it would be great. I use a Chromium browser.

"Your connection is not private. Attackers might be trying to steal your information from sso.pokemon.com (for example, passwords, messages or credit cards.) Net::ERR_Cert_Common_Name_Invalid. This server could not prove that it is sso.pokemon.com; its security certificate is from ****************************-m. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection."

Is the security certificate from a site that is not affiliated with Pokemon?

If so, it could be a hack attempt.

Yes it is. Its just that it is censored. I actually cannot access my account directly now, I have  to use a search engine to find the forums and login that way. Also, it's not my computer I think, my sister's account works still.

Edit: Tried going to the site, a message pops up that says the request to view the site is denied, this is awfully suspicious. Really scared my account is getting hacked.

Hi pokemasterTz!

I recommend contacting the support team. You can do so by clicking the link in my signature, signing in, and clicking "Ask a Question". If you cannot sign into your account, you can also send an email to techhelp@pokemon.com. Native site pages will be safe. You may have stumbled upon an expired certificate, but the support team will be able to help figure that out with you. :)

Oh, that's a relief, so there is no chance of hacking? Thanks!

Edit: When I click Ask a Question I get the error. What should I do?

Hello!

It appears that this actually is a known issue which the web team is working to resolve, so we appreciate you patience until it can be fixed! If you are not able to create a ticket through the directions I posted above, you can submit an email as I described. However, you do not need to submit a ticket for this issue anymore as it will resolve itself for you when a fix is implemented. :)

EDIT: Please see this announcement: http://forums.pokemontcg.com/topic/38572-intermittent-log-in-failures-for-all-pok%C3%A9mon-services/

Oh, cool, thanks, I'm just relieved no one is hacking my account. Thanks again!
