Vileplume \ Vespiquen vs Zororak

So, Vileplume + Vespiquen is a thing, but I'm wondering if Vileplume + Zoroark would be better, or if there is any basic attacker that would be better than Vespiquen?

 

Is Vileplume + Vespiquen really better than Vileplume Miltank? Seems like maybe Miltank would be better. 

 

The disadvantage of Zoroark is that you can't evolve right away with Forest, but the advantage is you can stand in to get Vileplume out of the way. If Zoroark is the only attacker then you don't even need to run any Float Stones.

 

I was thinking, however that you could tech in a single Espeon-EX, along with Xerosic, to deal with Garchomp and Megas. Might not be worth it.

Biggest problem with Zoroark for me is the low HP (100) and the unreliable nature of the attack (10 if your opponent has no benched pokemon)...

It can work but I don't think the synergy is great in this case.

For total game control what about Vileplume + Pyroar + Espeon Ex now that you mention it?

Flare command Pyroar I presume?

Intimidating Mane probably not the best combo with Espeon-EX, I think the highest evolution goes back into their hand.

Espeon-EX and Archeops might be interesting.  If you don't get Archeops first turn, no big deal, devolve all after you complete the Maxie's.

You are right no point devolving if they are putting it back in game next turn. Oopsies
