For acceleration and prevention from special conditions use virizion ex

You could be like everyone else and use the Ariados/Sceptile combo.

It's sad but this is one of the few grass combo that work nowadays in standard... the other being some Vespiquen creation.

 

Just looking at the other grass EX cards: Venusaur, Trevenant and Heracross.... MEH!   

 

I've been wanting to make a Meganium deck with Reuniclus but can't make it work most of the times...

I would not build around a specific type, rather a specific strategy, but if you are looking for decks with Grass Pokemon, besides the ones already mentioned there is also Trevenant/Accelgor and VirGen.

Depending on how competitive you want this to be, there is lots you can do with Grass. 

 

Vileplume/Miltank or Vilepulme/Vespiquen or Vileplume / Simisage (Don't underestimate Simisage!!) or Vileplume/Durant or Vileplume / Venemoth

Vileplume / Simisage is actually a pretty fun deck, especially now with Jirachi promo

Go for a normal, 110 hp AO Virizion. Works well if you are lagging behind or for a starting clean kill. Or try for my favorite Pokemon, Beedrill from PRC. He can knock out a pokemon without doing any damage. Just use his Allergic Shock attack and retreat for free, and then bring out a weak Pokemon. During your next turn, a 10 damage attack will knock out even the strongest of opponents, even a mega. It is kinda hilarious to watch
