Palkia-EX/Wailord-EX

Basically, the idea is to use Wailord as a beefy attacker.

4 Palkia-EX

3 Wailord-EX

2 Manaphy-EX

2X2X2 Golduck Break

4 Fighting Fury Belt

4 All Night Party

Max Potion, not sure how many.

Unfortunately you don't get to use Rough Seas because you need All Night Party to wake up Wailord, but it does have some other utility, plus it helps to not have Rough Seas when you use Palkia's attack that does bench damage.

With a Fighting Fury Belt Wailord has a a whopping 290 HP, making him quite a challenge to KO.

The bad thing is that since you need 5 energy, it does make Wailord still vulnerable to Mega Mewtwo Y and Yveltal (and Lugia).

Mega Mewtwo Y still needs to attach 5 energy to OHKO Wailord though and Yveltal needs to attach 8 if they use Muscle Band.

Better use something thats playable -_- using wailord as you main attacker is a stupid idea

With Palkia you can have him up and ready in 2 turns, so its not bad. I would run Max Elixer too, but seems like running Max Elixer and Palkia is a bad idea.

With Max Potion you have 290 HPs to heal up, so its a way to maximize the use of Max Potion and Golduck. Since Wailord hits for 130 with FFB he can 2 hit anything.

Ok i admit you can ko stuff but this deck is slow since u need to accelerate palkia also.. Just like the wailords mill decks tbh all decks that are based on wailord are slow

I think this deck is definitely worth a shot and it looks pretty awesome to me. The real problem with it is the difficulty of being able to set everything up, and having Max Potions when needed.

I would run some AZ too because putting Wailord into your hand fully heals him too and with Golduck shuffling the energies you won't lose them into your discard pile.

Good idea!

I rebuilt my wailord stall deck based on the one that was used famously a year or two ago in championships.

the new 'un common not rare' max potion makes this possible.

and, I've actually won some matches with it.  it's not as dominant as night march or yveltal variants but it's not bad either, just makes for some long matches.  So, if you're trying to complete vs rewards not the best choice, lol..
