Frogadier?

Hi, hope this is vaguely the right place for this.....

 

Me and my daughter play this game and we are wondering what the point of frogadier is? It seems to just make more frogadiers, and we are wondering why we would want a bench full of frogadiers. Greninja doesn't seem to have any particular synergy with it and you still need to draw 3 or 4 greninja to go with all the frogadiers you now have.

So what am I missing? Or is it that greninja is so good that is worth building a deck around?

The Greninja from XY has Water Shuriken, which puts 30 damage on any target you want if you have Water Energy to discard. Being able to do that multiple times in one turn is actually really terrifying, and with cards like Fisherman and Superior Energy Retreival, it's very doable.

 

And that's not even mentioning Greninja BREAK.

If you use Frogadier from BREAKpoint, you only need to run 2 froakie and 4 Frogadier In a Greninja Deck.
