please fix the 15 second timer rules, lag outs now lose you matches

I was in the finals of a tournament and I tried to click done on a reserved ticket and it wouldn't let me click done. i pressed a million times and it didn't work... then the 15 timer comes and goes and still the done button is not moving forward with the game. i restart the client and i find my turn just ended and my opponent KOs my blastoise so I lose the match.

I can understand that the 15 second timer is there to prevent someone from stalling the entire match on their turn but the current rules are RIDICULOUS. now lag outs (which happen all the time these days by the way) basically lose you matches. before if i lagged out i can still return to find that my turn didn't end.

honestly this goes against the rules of pokemon as well. in pokemon tournament rules we have a main timer that expires, but NO WHERE does it say that if you take too long on a turn you just end the turn. How can the online game not understand this.

if you want a compromise with the old method then give us like five 1 minute time outs before ending the turn, not 15 seconds and it's done. if i'm lagging or your servers are buggy i can't even register an action to reset the timer so the timer basically just destroys your match. please fix this asap...

What you dont seem to get is that the problem isnt the timer, but rather the numerous softlocks the game has been experienced as of late. This is just my opinion, but the timer is perfectly fine. There is no reason you would take a full minute to think through a single action.

Ive said this a million times and Ill keep spamming this until people finally learn that its possible to get around a softlock in tournaments until they recieve a proper fix: if ever any of your commands become unresponsive (the done button in your case), instantly altf4 and restart your game. Your timer will effectively freeze and pick up where you left it once you relog.

well sometimes the game do not register your moves and skips your turn. had that happen about 5 times. and i was like really discarding 3 energies to use yveltal for. and after doing all that it did nothing but skip. it only took me about 5 secs. so if he is talking about the 15 sec thing that can be annoying.
