well in tcg  ground, rock, fighting are all combines into 1 type, fighting, such as other types, like bug and grass is just grass, ice and water is just water, psychic, ghost, poison is psychic, flying and normal is colourless, those are the combines types i can think of at the moment, i hope this helps

Types in TCG are a bit different, when the card game first came out there was only 7 types compared to the 14 ingame:

-Colorless (Normal + Flying)

-Fighting (Fighting + Rock + Ground)

-Psychic (Psychic + Ghost + Poison)

-Fire (Fire)

-Water (Water + Ice)

-Lightning (Electric)

-Leaf (Grass + Bug)

and with the addition of new types ingame (Dragon, Steel, Dark and finally Fairy) raising the ingame type count to 18, new TCG types appeared:

-Darkness (Dark)  ..... started earlier than I did :P

-Metal (Steel)  ..... started earlier than I did :P

-Dragon (Dragon) .... First TCG Dragon types appeared in BW6: Dragons Exalted, before this set, Dragons were usually Colorless with different energy cost types

-Fairy (Fairy) ..... started with the XY era

You can easily tell the difference in between types, for example:

ex: Fighting (Rock, Fighting, Ground)

Fighting (Fighting) = weak to Psychic

Fighting (Rock)  = weak to Leaf

Fighting (Ground) = weak to Water (Ice ingame)

I think they lowered the number of types to reduce confusion about resistances and weaknesses, and generally it was a good idea !

maybe you are right. for a sec i thought that onix will count as fighting and he wont be weak from water or grass but i was wrong :D its fighting but they add the real weaknes of onix no the fighting weaknes but some onix dont lose from water cause their weaknes is grass and thats weird but we cant do nothing for this i think. one more thing, why most of pokemon dont have resistances?

some pokemon like scizor have one card grass and one metal and at the grass card he use grass attacks and at the other metal and thats good cause scizor is half grass and half metal and they balanced it like this also let you use your favorite part of scizor.i hope they did that for many cards i have seen many but iam not sure if they do that for all pokemon.also steelix is metal pokemon and use fighting energy? weedle dont have poison attacks?

Where are all these? (flying,poison,ground,rock,ice,bug,ghost,???)

basicaly rock , ground = some normal some fighting some grass , poison = some grass some psychik , flying = normal or steel(skarmory) or thunder(zapdos) etc , ice= water(make sense) bug = grass or steel (scizor or idk what else) etc , ghost = psychik.

well its ok for me :) also they do this for balance etc etc
