so, a friend sent me a bunch of codes from IRL Booster packs, and i got a few M cards, just curious to know what fair value would be for them, and can i get standard decks/how many boosters for them?

Groudon EX (two different types)

I suggest that you take a look around the different trading companies around here in the forums. They have good prices for everything you're looking for.

 

The only price i know off the top of my head is Shaymin EX (20 RS Packs aprox).

basically all you need to know is RS = roaring skies and everyone measures prices in roaring skies packs only, so then for example if someone tells you shaymin is 20 rs, it means 20 roaring skies packs, as for the other abbreviations,  reg = regular art, FA = full art and SR = secret rare

Yeah, the standard currency around here is Roaring Skies (RS) packs, which are worth exactly 1 pack. Different companies have different exchange rates for the other booster packs, and some packs are priced at different values depending on wether you're buying cheaper or more expensive cards (which they usually mark with an asterisk).

 

It seems to me that RS packs are always worth exactly 1 regardless of where you're buying or what you're buying though.

okay, just after some guidance now, because im a little confused.

why do cards show in my collection as owned, but i am unable to trade?

it says i have Shaymin EX, but wont let me trade

There exist tradelocked card (indicated with a closed locked icon at the bottom of your card) and tradable cards.

 

Only booster packs obtained through codes, tournaments and Winners Wheel rewards are tradable (as well as gem store cards). Cards obtained through Trainer Challenge, Daily Challenges, VS Ladder and token store are all tradelocked. Any cards that already existed in your collection when you first created your account are also tradelocked.

 

As the name would imply, you can use these cards but you cant ever trade them.

 

If you got a tradelocked Shaymin EX you're super lucky xd Right now it probably just looks to you like you cant trade a 20 packs card, but you'll soon realize that there is no reason you'd ever trade it away even if you could.
