i am wanting to make my deck running the 3 new psychic you get at 410.

 

i am wanting advice on what to keep and what to get rid of so i can add them.

some suggestions. i know its expanded format tho. i play that mode allot due to the mewtwos.

I can' really type you my usual wall-of-text type of answers from my phone, but I'll leave you 2 quick observations:

 

1. You should never run a 1-1 line of anything. It's completely unreliable. At the very least, you should run a 2-2 line.

 

2. Your deck looks a bit unfocused. Gallade and Mewtwo, for example, work towards completely different goals. Gallade is good with damage spread supports (bats, forretress, etc) and Mewtwo is more focused on burst damage / OHKOs and does better with supports that can accelerate energies.

yea i noticed with gollade so i removed it. i am wondering what about the 3 new cards tho you get from vs ladder. would they be good for this type of deck or no?

 

i got 2 mewtwo ex and 2 megas. tho one is ss and one is xball. the ss is my main mega and xball is more for quick attacks on psychic specially against another mega mewtwo so it can ohko it with less energies since the mega dont apply weakness.

Hey, I think I can give a few pointers. Like Gonzo said, your direction is a bit unclear. Go for a specific strategy! Think of your deck as a combination of cards to get to the end goal, not separate pieces. Here is the route I would go:

- Drop the Gallade Chain and the Cresselia, your focus should be on Mewtwo.



- Drop the Normal Types, same reason.



- Mess with your trainers, you want to get maximum consistency and a clear goal. (Also, use an ACE SPEC!) Some of your trainers can be replaced in my opinion. Also just add more draw support in general.



- Add more Mewtwo, your focus.



- Cut the energy. I know it seems against the goal of the deck and your instincts, and I've been there too, but most competitive decks run roughly 10 energy, give or take. You'll find that decreasing energy amounts actually increases your energy access, as you can add more draw support to get into those cards.



- Try adding Psychic Mirage Gardevoir, it is a very interesting card, I do not think Dusknoir is going to work, it does not add to the strategy, but this might if you want a stage 2. You can also add powerful storm Gallade.

Don't worry, its not life threatening, and yeah, some of the cards are a bit pricey. I would recommend playing as much tourney's as possible, then instead of opening packs, trade them directly for a better deal on average. You can get quite a few cards this way, good luck! Also, N and Colress are must-haves in expanded, and along with sycamore are probably more solid than Shauna and Tierno, but its your choice!

If you want a deck to use with the Dusknoir line, get another one and build Flygon BCR/Dusknoir BCR/Bats/LaserBank. I've got a secret formula that works wonders and is devilishly fun to play.

Colress is used for the later part of the game. But if you think about it, a colress can net you 10 cards, or even 16 with skyfield in play. Also, forgot to mention the battle compressor/mega turbo combo you can use to push energy on mega mewtwo.

i am gonna try it with zoroark stand in and float stone. so this way i can switch between megas and attack more easier. and also not worry about kos.

Keldeo EX > Zoroark. You can get it in its promo version for 2-3 packs on pub. 1 Keldeo plus two float stone is the norm.
