Found a Japanese translation:

 

Lugia BREAK – Colorless – HP150

BREAK Pokemon – Evolves from Lugia

Lugia BREAK retains the attacks, Abilities, Weakness, Resistance, and Retreat Cost of its previous Evolution.

[C][C][C][C] Destruction Wave: 150 damage. Discard 2 Energy attached to this Pokemon.

 

Reg. Lugia is pretty much a carbon copy of DRX bouffalant

Awful break evolution..... sure it might be good with garchomp or bronzong but other then that, not really great :/

The basic is essentially a better bouffalant DRX.

Lugia – Colorless – HP120

Basic Pokemon

Ability: Pressure

When this Pokemon is your Active Pokemon, damage done to this Pokemon by your opponent’s Pokemon’s attacks is reduced by 20.

[C][C][C] Rising Burn: 60+ damage. If your opponent’s Active Pokemon is a Pokemon-EX, this attack does 60 more damage.

Weakness: Lightning (x2)

Resistance: Fighting (-20)

The break is not so so great, but the basic lugia is actually quite a good card.

It two shots every ex, is splashable in any deck, is difficult to knock out without expending resources (even more so with hard charm, assault vest, or ffb) , and only gives up one price making the prize trade very favorable. The higher energy cost is made easy with energy acceleration like dce, max elixir, bronzong, ho-oh, and more because the attack costs solely colorless .

Seeing as how bouffalant was played fairly widely, I could definitely see lugia impacting the metagame if regice the ex slayer wasn't already a thing and if it wasn't weak to lightning.

Also, it should be noted that with dce, 2 bronzong, a zoroark/ keldeo, muscle band/ silver bangle, you could cycle lugia breaks to take ex knockouts every turn like tyrantrum decks, and it effectively has ex level hp, so I see some potential in it.

I sort of like the two cards, and hope more basics are given breaks.

Because of the new Broken Lugia, I thnk there will be BREAK support cards that can maybe accelerate energy or increasing damage. Well I hope there will be.

Chesnaught Break in BT, Greninja Break in BP, Delphox Break is 100 % happening in FC, + we still don't have a Fire type Break

The trait wouldn't function. Here is the official ruling:

 

 

 

Break Evolution Rule: Pokemon BREAK retains the attacks, Abilities, Weakness, Resistance, and Retreat Cost of its previous Evolution.

 

 

 

Nowhere on there is an Ancient Trait mentioned, and it not being one of the above mentioned effects that carry over from pre Evolution, I would assume it would cancel the trait. (First thing ever that can turn em off)
