[GAME] Chat - Notification symbol will not disappear from Friends list

this has happened just this past hour.

playing normally, suddenly, friends tab shows a 1.. logged out etc, come back half an hour later now showing 2.

however there is nothing there, I cant do anything to remove this, and as a result the friends/chat green button has the ! on it permanently
