Pokemon Anime lost its spark...

The last generation anime was great, and now I'll watch the 5th generation anime, but it just lost the spark imo. I mean, I grew up watching the anime since 10 years. Here's the list of reasons.

 

• 
  
• No Brock (Replaced by Cilan, which is fine)
   
  
• No Wobbuffet & other Team Rocket Pokemon members (Why?)
   
  
• Team Rocket got crueler and stealthy because of promotion. (Use harsher equipment to catch Pokemon)
   
  
• No Team Rocket blasting off.
   
  
• Ash seemed to catch a lot of pokemon at once... but cool.
   
  
• Maybe a new generation of Pokemon...
   
  
• SPOILER involving Meowth (invis-post)
   
  
• Different Joy and Jenny, but who care?
   
  
• Different fashion and new perspective.
  

 

 

I don't know. Maybe I changed, can't adapt to this anime, or spoke too soon. Thoughts?

 

As you know, there are cartoons that lost its prime, such ************ Squarepants and Ben 10. By the way, I enjoy MLPFiM more than Pokemon anime. I'm sorry if it shocked you or something.

I pretty much agree with everything frank, said, but how could they kick meowth out of team rocket! I'm mad about that (well, about as mad as a very mellow, laid back guy can get). Also, I have no idea why squarepant's first name is censored, but I know how we can get around it.

 

Just call him spongepants squarebob. After all, he is a friendly little guy.

 

Oh, and since it's kinda relevant since this is a card game website...

I stopped about mid-May. Not the month the character LOL.

 

 

 

My main problem is that it seems that Ash had to keep relearning his lessons every two years. If they wanted to keep the show at certain level they should have followed a new trainer every 2-3 years. Then on occasion have a special (ie Housou) that on occasion show the older ones.

 

 

 

Pokemon will always be my first, but Digimon and YuGiOh (minus 5D) had better anime series, because the shows grew and changed. Heck, Goku in DBZ had more character evolution than Ash has. Well Ashe does, but then he goes back, the forward, then back. Heck looks at YGO/GX, it you have seen the not in US final season, it got even better.

 

 

 

If after Johto we stopped following Ash and started following someone new or previously introduced, but not as experienced. Think it would have been better.

 

 

 

But that my $.02, granted with all that test it's more like $3.29 + tax.

Well, I don't want to have the MODs on us.

 

I also miss May and Max. I loved how Max was super smart and could do the glare with his glasses. I have spent hours trying to do it but have failed every time...

I hate how they pretend that Ash has never aged a day. What is he, like 20 something now? Really should have moved on, made him like the Johto champion or something and follow other new trainers with Gary and everybody else making cameos as stronger older characters. Like how in Gold and Silver Red which is Ash as far as I'm concerned became the Pokemon Master and acted as a sort of final boss.

Personaly...(and it seams like I'm the only one who feels this way), I like the Black & White series a lot. I think it's just a good as the all the other sesons if not better. But that's just my opinon....

I think Team Rocket getting serious is something I've been waiting for a long time. *nods* Yeah, it was amusing in the previous anime episodes but now...it's kind of repetitive. They try to catch pikachu, they get blast off...every time. =_=;;;

I personally don't like Team Rocket's presence, especially Jessie's outfit.

 

Then Brock and Misty are missing...

Why isn't Hilbert/Hilda in the Unova region? I'm okay with Cilian and Iris, but seriously, it seems as if every other character has appeared in the anime at least once except for the two... (please correct me if I'm wrong)
