Basic Fire Energy

Edit:  7/8 now.

Unown, Trainer's Mail, Acro Bike all serve as cards which simply disappear from the deck, which is already 11 out of the 45 which remain after prize cards and your first card in drawn on turn.  Most of the draw is done with items.

Early in the game energy can be used as additional draw with Scorched Earth in order to set up Typhlosion quickly and hopefully Blacksmith in the first few turns.

Battle Compressor can be used early game to discard supporters as needed, giving you access to either search cards with Skyla, Brigette - the lightning speed set up card or Blacksmith which will allow Typhlosion to begin attacking with Flare Destroy.  Battle Compressor can also be used late game to remove any cards which might affect Massive Eruption's outcome negatively (unused evolution cards, supporters and extra items).

Mid to Late game, Trainer's Mail and Skyla allow you to amass Energy Recyclers in your hand for repeat Massive Eruptions.  Early game Judge allows you to shuffle those Energy Recyclers back into your deck.  Late game Judge allows you to refresh your hand without drawing too many energies and hurting your outcomes with Massive Eruption.

The goal is to get your deck down to below 20 cards preferably to 10 and use Energy Recyclers until all your remaining cards are energy.

Item lock stinks because success is somewhat reliant on thinning your deck with ridiculous item draw, energy recycler, VS Seeker and Rare Candy.

At least there are a few ways to draw outside of items, Scorched Earth, Unown.

Seems more reliable than my earlier list.

I'd love to add Shaymin EX, or maybe Octillery and even more 'one-of' supporters, a Hex Maniac maybe, Pokemon Centre Lady.
