Metagame and online

So, given that the card pool right now is pretty limited, what is the metagame like online? I've honestly never considered archetypes for Pokemon, so long has it been and how far I have come as a gamer. What deck types are viable given the sets and cards available? Semi-relatedly, how are values for trading determined here?
