My avtar will not update (even after refreshing and reloging)

My avtar will not update even after I refreshing and reloging it still will not change on the forum and site home but it does in trainer challegge. so my avtar is is right in traniner challenge but is not updating on the rest of the site. I have refreshed and reloged 5 times and I have tryed making it over but no luck. also I can not unlock the achevment for editing my avatar. Is any one else haveing these problems? are they being fixed?

You need to click "Save" after you make your avatar, then just type in the name of your old avatar so that it overwrites it, thus making your avatar change.

Yes I did save it, it says that that is my avatar on the avatar creator and in the trainer challege but not on the site and forum it worked yesterday. But i chaneged my avatar today and saved it as the same name and it overwrites it but it will not update on the site and forum.

 

Edit: I think it has something to do with the fact that I picked a defalt avatar and now I can't change it back to the custum one. can some one fix this?

So Darkrai848, your avatar is stuck in the body of an impersonator? That simply won't do! Let's get you the look you're wanting!

 

 

 

Have you tried deleting all of your avatar names and outfits? I would start by deleting them all to guarantee that there is no held over information. Once you have done so, navigate away from the avatar creator page and then log out. Log back in and customize your avatar again. Now, provided that there are zero saved avatar outfits, you should be able to create a new one and give it the originally intended name. Do so, save it and finally click load. Make sure you get confirmation that it has loaded then once again, navigate away from that page.

 

 

 

If it has not changed still, log out and back in to see if that helps. If that STILL does not help, make a forum post and see if that action updates your avatar. I know that happened to me once and posting rectified it for me.

Sadly this does not work cus you cant deleat your last avatar right now. but I have tryed making a new one and then deleting it but it still did not work. if you have any other ideas please post them.

It may be that because of so many users logging in for the past 24 hours that the system is having a hard time keeping up with changes to avatars. I've just changed the hair color on mine as well and I'm not seeing an update. I'll edit this post when it does. Don't worry, we'll get it working for you!

 

 

EDIT: My avatar changed today, and I see yours did too! I think for now you have to give it 24 hours to update. We've got a team working on this issue as we speak!
