why were tournament chests changed to uncommon chests?

The y will probably introduce Rare Chests or something, which may have higher and better pull rates just a guess

My guess is because you now get them from Versus Ladder so they are no longer just from Tournaments.

That should of just renamed Reward Chest... You still can get rares lol.

I have opened at least 300 Chests in the past 3 days and I can assure you that their content has not been changed, nor has their pull chance. I've pulled several EXes and good cards, as well as plenty of tokens. 

They probably only changed the name because they plan on including new kinds of chests in the future.

Contents have not changed.

 

The name was changed to better indicate what comes out of the chest (uncommon cards or better).  Also, because the chests come out of other places besides Tournaments (the VS rewards, for example) it was seen as a better clarification of what the item is.
