Is JIrachi XY 67 legal right now?

I know that new sets are not legal until 3 weeks after, but I was wondering if the same rule applies to promos like Jirachi XY 87.

I don't know what you mean new sets are not legal until 3 weeks after, but xy promos are legal in standard as long as at least 1 xt set is still legal in it, same with BW promos as some of them that were released pretty early (around BW2/BW3) were still legal until Legendary Treasures (last BW set) got rotated in the last rotation, so i'm sure that XY promos will be legal for a long time !

Well, everyone at my locals told me that when a new set is officially released, you can't play the cards until 3 weeks afterwards.

 

The tournaments that happened after Breakthrough was released did not allow Breakthrough cards until the 25th, 3 weeks after the official release date.

Oh so you must be talking about real life tournaments ? in that case i have no idea, either way there has been more than 3 weeks since BT came out so i think you're good !

He says the 3 week rule still applies to these promos, but he said it should be legal now. 

 

Can I get a 100% confirmation?

Well i thought u meant online game, i have no idea about real life tournaments, so good luck with that
