New card idea (Spirit Link Ability)

Here is an idea for a new card. Not sure who should have the ability, but the ability would basically provide "Spirit Link" power to for all EXs. It could read something like:

 

"As long as this Pokemon is in play each of your Pokemon-EX can Mega Evolve without losing a turn."

 

This ability could either be on an EX or on a Stage 1, not sure what's the better way to go.

 

Also, it could be on a Stadium and say "As long as this Stadium is in play each player's Pokemon-EX can Mega Evolve without losing a turn."

 

What would be extra nice about this is that it could make all of the old Mega Pokemon without Spirit Links viable. If it's a stadium then playing it could be risky since it would help your opponent too. A Stage 1 could be a nice idea to ensure that its a bit more of an investment.

This seems much too OP for a stage 1, if anything IMO it should be a Stage 2 or BREAK of a stage 1/2. Some Mega's are pretty OP like M Lucario-EX and M Charizard-EX Y who would be really strong if they had Spirit Links. As for the stadium that would be crazy insane and OP I don't think it should be made. A Stage 2 could be brought out with rare candy so a turn 2 Charizard w/ Crimson Dive isn't impossible but a BREAK would make it harder and only available for turn 3+

Yeah, but the beauty of making it a Stadium would be that it helps your opponent too, so it could easily backfire.

 

But yeah, if they made it a stadium then probably it would move to game too far in favor of Megas in general.

 

I think it should be either a Psychic or Fairy card. I would say Grass, but Forest of Giant Plants would make it too powerful.

Like he said it's too OP for a stadium or stage 1, it should be Stage 2 at least and should read "As long as this Pokemon is your active pokemon, each of your Pokemon-EX can Mega Evolve without losing a turn"

 

At least now it's not too OP, but it would still be used heavily and is overall a great ability,The best pokemon I can imagine having it is a Psychic type, maybe Alakazam (if only) or something weird like gothitelle/ reuniclus

Seems a little too strong like that. Maybe restrict it to allowing one free Mega Evolution a turn - anything beyond that with no spirit link, the turn still ends.

How about: Once during your turn, before you attack, you may Mega Evolve one of your Pokémon without your turn ending. Put 5 damage counters on your Pokémon if you evolve it this way.

That would have to be a Stage 1 though cause that drawback, but I can see a Mega Glalie with Hard Charm deck with that strategy...
