Report player function is broken

The amount of small bugs on things that should have been ironed out years ago are really frustrating me right now.

 

When I start getting death threats from stupid players who like to complain that I'm playing a shiftry deck, I would at least like to be able to report the player and not have it tell me "unable to report player please try later"

 

Honestly I am getting more frustrated by the day with this garbage. I think its pathetic that the community has people in it that are so upset over someone using a particular deck even though its banned in both standard and expanded and it would be so easy to avoid playing against it. But to take it further and start saying things like "I hope death finds you and your family" and "I hope an ISIS attack happens near you." then you don't deserve to be able to play the game, and you really should be banned.

 

I get that pokemon co. makes money off of the players so I don't expect anyone to get banned really but at the very least I should be able to report the player so they can be looked at and possibly muted so they cant spew their garbage at anyone else.

 

I can't believe pokemon co. would let things get to this state but I guess I just have to be continually disappointed by you guys.

As firmly as I believe that Shiftry is cancerous to Unlimited and shouldn't exist, I still cannot abide this behavior. It doesn't matter how much someone doesn't like a deck, spewing death threats and other such stupidity over it is not acceptable under any circumstances.

 

And the fact that you can't even report this unacceptable behavior because of a bug... I feel for ya, man.

Our apologies for the confusion.  The report function, despite the issue with the feedback, does work.  What is failing is an additional email notification that we no longer use (well it's there but only as a back up).  That redundant email notification was supposed to be disabled and thereby stop the misleading "can't report this player right now" warning, but looks like that change didn't get rolled out.   

 

As for the person making ISIS threats, yes, it is the anonymity of the internet that brings out the worst in people  I checked your chat history and the mod team already took action on the issue.
