[GAME] General - Frequent lag on the Loading Poké Ball screen

seriously what is going on. it never used to freeze on the loading screen but now randomly when i transition from say trades to my collection, and the loading screen comes on, it just NEVER LOADS. 3 times it happened, and the last time was when the next round of the tournament began. after 2 min i closed the client, logged back in, and I wasn't even in a tournament anymore SO IT FORCED A LOSS in a tournament.  unbelievable how much frustration i am in right now.

Have you continued to experience this after re-logging? This sounds like an issue with your connection to the server. If this continues to occur, please let us know.

Since the newest update me and several other people have had connection issues thats we have never had before the update and has been kicking us out constantly during games and when we go to check our connection to the internet it is working perfectly fine

Same issue happening here. It seems to occur while changing tabs like from collection to VS or something.

Tested on 2 different computers with different internet connections and still happens randomly

Same here in 3 tourneys today only and several times in general since the last update!! So it's not our PC the problem it's the game itself!!!

Yeah mine has done that also.. Not to mention slow game play, unexpected crashing and not responding as well..pretty sure the problem is not in my end..PTCGO plz do something.. It's a great game but u have to make sure your server is stable before making big changes.

I can confirm I had this issue during a screen transition.

Ok, i tried to live with this, but i can't take it anymore, this freaking bug is happening every 4-5 times I switch between Collection / Trade / Deck creator !

COME ON you have to fix this, It's too much, it wasn't happening this often at first, I mean it's making me and many others Hate this update even more, FYI: I was one of people who actually liked it but now, not so much .... sorry for the outrage ..

Same thing has been happening to me, but that is not the worst of it!  The worst part is what happened to me yesterday during a Theme Deck tournament.  I had made it to the final match, but when the timer hit 0:00 for the match to begin, the loading screen popped up and got stuck in an endless loading loop!  Plus, after I quickly stopped and reloaded the Pokemon TCGO program on my computer, I was greeted with a pop-up stating that the tournament was over and that my opponent had won!!!  This loading error is a real menace!

It has happened to me several times as well when I switch between game modes, for example from the Versus ladder to Trade. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with my connection to the server and definitely not to the Internet in general.

OMG that is terrible, it happened to me in the middle of a tournament as well, but I relogged again and was able to finish it, but seriously this is literally the worst thing about this update, very very annoying bug

I was looking at pub trades while in tournament queue. When tournaments start, it forces you to the tourney hub, but it just went to a load screen for 15 minutes. So now I'm down 4 tournament tickets and out a chance at some sweet new packs. Thoughts/help?

Quite often when switching screens (no idea why you folks did that anyway) the pokeball just keeps spinning and won't open the screen. I see this happening more when moving to the trade screen... Any fixes would be nice. Hate having to close the game to re-open it. I'm on the new Macbook running the latest OS - El Capitan.

If it happens again, don't wait nearly as long as that. Close your window and then reopen it after like 15 seconds or something. The game will probably consider that a "disconnection" and the opponent would've had a window come up saying that you've disconnected and you have 5 minutes to reconnect, and you'll probably be able to continue in the tournament.

 

I frequently have the same problem as soon as I click on Trade from the menu.

Hi, I noticed recently since youve updated the game and added the new Pokeball "loading" animation before showing the players' names/energy type indicators that once in about 8 games, the game doesnt progress past the Pokeball "swirling/loading" screen.

 

The game never loads, soft locks, and I'm forced to close the game window, rather than with in-client menus. 

 

Is anyone else getting this issue?

UPDATE: This also has a chance to happen when navigating ANY menu that involves the Pokeball loading screen.

Unlike most people, I loved the last update, and despite all the negative feed and many bugs I got used to it, But DEV TEAM you have to stick by the people who stuck by you, fix the LOADING SCREEN BUG, it happens so often now,  i can't take it anymore, i'm not usually the type of person who does this, but it's gotten too annoying, its going forever !

This should be your priority and thank you for your hard work ....

Amen to that my friend, amen. And the "dev should stick by the people who stuck by them" is a very good point. Now if you were one of the people who had hated on them I could understand being ignored, I don't condone it but i understand it.

No idk ********* but i already explained that i was one of the few people who actually denfeded the new update, you can even check my post posts, i mean i even got a lot of hate from some whiny players because of that but tbh i can't take this bug anymore, we're not asking for much are we ?? just fix 1 da*n bug !

The one I've seen is when you go to different parts of the game (say from My Collection to Trade, for example) and it just gets stuck on the Loading Screen.  Alex, I sent you and Mike a screenshot about this last week or the week before.  So, if this is the same issue, then I've explained already what it is to you both.  If this person above in the thread here means loading as in before the game gets to 100% to bring up the client, then that's something different then what I'm talking about.

 

What I'm talking about is when you move around in game from say Tournaments to Shop, and the client freezes saying "loading" while the pokeball spins in a circle, for eternity...so have to click the red x in the top right to close the client and then re-log in.  It's a pain.  Mike knows about this, he made a log about it he said.

I was frustrated sorry for the outburst but like Desdaddy explained, it's when the Pokéball spins foerever when you go from for example: collection to Versus, it's happening way too often and it's very annoying, i've personally mentioned it here many times before but to no response, find a quick solution please
