On February the 27th, 2016, Pokémon versions: Red, Blue and Yellow will be arriving on Virtual Console for the 3DS and 2DS in all of their glory when they were first released in 1996.

Not sure how old you all are, but I remember getting these games back in the 3rd and 4th grade.

 

Does anyone remember the Mew-Strength rumor?

I remember the rumour. I even tried it myself to see if it really works, lol. The irony of it all is that you can actually get Mew in the games, just not in that way.

I hope to play the original games because i have only played fire red, heart gold, X and omega ruby

I still have the Game Boy versions, except for Green, since that was in Japan only, but now, it suppose to be all four for the virtual console.  Also seen something where in Japan, there will be 2DS consoles based off the games, like the Pikachu yellow Game Boy that came out around the first few years.
