In my Black game I've played over 700 hours. 300 of those hours were wasted attempting the Masuda Method over the summer. /nolife

I'm only about 60 hours into my Pokemon White game. But I managed to find and catch a shiny Lillipup within the first three.<img src="http://www.pokemontcg.com/javascripts/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/png/teeth_smile.png" alt="" />

@Azuma: The RNG in this game is extra nice so shinies are more common now. o: Sadly, it's not so with desired shinies.

@123: Yeah, I know :B

In my ruby game I think I am at around 32 hr because I just restarted. I am just catching Groudon in the cave of origin. A lot of the time though when I get a little bored, I just put 2 pokemon I want to train in the daycare and go to one of the slopes that only the mach bike can get up. I then hold hold down the up button and I keep going up the slope, then sliding back down. This counts as a step, so the pokemon in the daycare level up. I leave it like this for a couple of hours, and they raise like 5 levels.

it depends, HG i have about 290, but all my other games (which are leafgreen, emerald, ruby, platinum, and white) have about 100 each, and all of them but white have been beaten and restarted several times

I put an average of 300 hours into each version. I'm up to 200 in white and I haven't even begun to do many of the things I want to. I've got 500 in diamond and more than that on yellow because those were the ones I was building every pokemon up in. I can't estimate how much hours I put into Colloseum because I was using that for a masterball factory. I still have black sitting there only just begun.

Masuda Method?  Whats that?

You get a Pokemon from a different country to breed with one of your Pokemon, and it SUPPOSEDLY increases the odds of getting a shiny egg. ._. I hatched over 9000 Scraggy eggs this way, no shinies yet.

@Milkshakes:Wow that's a lot. I am searching for a shiny awex via Masuda Method. So far 64 eggs, no shiny. You jsut gotta be patient. The odds are 1 in 1363.3 or 0.072 (approximate)

No, I literally did hatch over 9000 eggs. My game stopped counting them after 9999. ._.
