Cards [CARD] Florges (Breakthrough #104) - The Calming Aroma Ability removed too many Fairy Energy from this Pokémon's attack cost

Hey!

Just played a game against a Florges (Breakthrough 103) which was evolved to Florges BREAK.

Its ability says: Each of your Pokémon's attacks costs 1 fairy energy less.

Its "Wonder Shine" attack does need 3 fairy energy.


It had 2 energys attached so it could attack. After I played a team flare grunt it had 1 energy left but it did still attack me. That shouldnt be possible. Even my opponent didnt know why he could still attack.

It has only one attack, so the answer is yes. Twice in a row "Wonder shine".  First attack with 2 energys attached, second with only one energy attached.

No, it has more than one. You're forgetting that Break Pokemon can use attacks from their previous evolution.

They can only use the attack from their evolution they are attached to.

 

I.e. Florges BREAK can only use the attacks of it's own card, and the attacks of the Stage 2 Florges underneath the BREAK card.
