Dear Development Team,

there are certain things in life that aren't easy and that take a lot of character to handle correctly.

One of those things is the ability to admit when you made a mistake. Let's be honest, neither of us is perfect and eventually things down turn out the way we intended, leaving us with two options:

1. Trying everything we can to convince the rest of the world, and most importantly ourself, that we did the right thing and that everyone else is just to blind, or to stupid to see the bigger picture. Shutting ourself down from outward influences we'll eventually live in our own perfect microcosms, where we are the true-born kings, rightfully heirs to the throne of ever lasting wisdom.

2. [Offending content removed] admit that we made a mistake, looking for a dialogue with people around us in order to locate and fix the problem, in order to learn for the future. It might be a hard pill to swallow, it could even have some consequences for our career, but that's how the adult world works.

The bottom line is this: One of those options is only acceptable for young children and should never be used as a self defensive mechanism to completely alienated yourself from your surroundings. The fire won't cease just because you chose to close your eyes. Neither will you regain our trust by creating fake accounts and spilling a bunch of praises for the new update on the forums, that just shows how insecure you are about the whole issue.

Oh and don't hang yourself on some meaningless numbers, of course you did not saw a huge drop in play time over the first week of the launch, which is to be expected given an overall longer game time and the not so unimportant fact that it was the release of a new set!

Look, I know that Nintendo as a company isn't very keen in incorporating user feedback and I don't know how much saying any of the development team ( at least the ones that are present here on the forums) are getting towards the final product, but please stop this PR ******** about all of those “exciting new features” and talk with us from adult to adult.

Even if you are unable ( or unwilling) to change anything, at least give us the gratitude and explain yourself to us with some honest words.

Well said.

I can't understand why devs in general ignore their players (I'm experienced).

I'm going to play 1 game now... I have 20 minutes for it ='[

Thank you for your heartfelt post, it is something that you are obviously very passionate and concerned about. Just as a general reminder, let's keep everything civil and constructive in this thread. I have forwarded this thread to the proper channels for review.

It's an update for 5 year old kids who like the cool graphics and dont mind spending 30 mins on a game. I, as well as you, and many others  know the value of time, and not giving an option to turn off the silly animations was a big mistake. The least they can do is say we are working on the option.

to me fixing the client is not that difficult.

- put again energies and tools.

- remove or spped up (a lot) animations

- modify HUD because there is a lot of empty space now that you can use in a better way.

or

-reroll to old HUD and client.

It's actually funny, they rather make an update appealing to kids who likely will get bored of the game regardless of animations without their parents playing or helping them and therefore hardly buy any cards/products instead of catering for adults who CAN pay money and DO pay money online and/or in real life. So IMO in a business perspective it was really STUPID to do.
