****** Deck List Generated by Pokémon TCG Online www.pokemon.com/TCGO ******

Here is a new deck based around the AO Pokemon Theta Stop Golurk (superpower). So far its 17-3 on PTCGO in Standard Format. Strategy: Golurk has the AT Theta Stop which has come up big against Absol, Bats and Ariados.

It also has the Ability Double Type making Golurk both Psychic and Fighting types. This allows you cover weakness to those types while resisting the recoil damage from your Superpower attack.

Fareon and Julteon both provide Type Ability which allows Golurk to cover Fire and Lighting weaknesses as well.

Yveltal was added in as energy acceleration and a tech against Night March and mirror matches after having one of the decks losses be to NM.

Darkai-ex provides the free switch that has been a common theme in any deck using Dark Energy.

Long story short, you are trying to power up Golurk's Superpower attack and muscle your way over the competition by covering as many weakness as you can at once. You can OHKO any Pokemon weak to Fire, Lighting, Psychic and Fighting up to 300HP.

Tough Match ups:

-Dark Decks (this is actually balanced as Golurk is the weakness to all Dark Types but they to are Golurks weakness)

-Energy Denial Toad (this deck takes a min of 2 turns to power up, if its slowed down, it might not get going)

-Night March &/or Vespiquen (these decks can set up faster than Golurk can power up)

-Aegislash (Mighty Shield can shut down anything with Special Energy)

Favorable Match ups:

-Grass Types (weak to fire)

-Fighting Types (resistance to this type and some are weak to psy)

-Physic Type (weak to psy)

-Any deck weak to Lighting (Lugia-EX, Colorless M Ray, Yveltal-EX)

-Raichu (weak to fighting)

-Hyper Links (metal decks) (weak to fire)

If Fire type decks start to show up more in the PTCGO meta then Vaporeon can and will be added to the deck to provide Water weakness to Fire Types.

Any questions or comments are welcome. This deck is built for PTCGO so you have to think about the large array of decks you'll be seeing. If you build this to IRL Meta, then you can alter the Eeveelutions to help favor you against your Meta.

Just a personal preference and to reduce the use of it against Aegislash as Mighty Shield can shut down anything with Special Energy.

Also my other decks like Yveltal-EX only run 3 because of the energy acceleration.

Yes DCE speeds up the attack so if you want to run 4, just replace 1 Dark Energy for it.

One thing I kinda like about Golurk is that its Ability can almost never be shut off. Theta Stop blocks out Garbodor's Garbotoxin and Wobbuffet's Bide Barricade (though the latter wouldn't affect the Psychic-type Golurk anyway), and Silent Lab doesn't affect the Stage 1 Golurk. To my knowledge, the only thing that can shut off its Ability right now is Hex Maniac, which only lasts one turn with each use.
