Make Locked Rewarded Boosters Tradeable

Hi there,

 

I have a suggestion about locked boosters that we receive from daily challenges or as a login reward . I think they should be made tradeable as it will help many players to trade them for other cards because good card pulls are not guaranteed in each and every booster and atleast they can get some good cards easily to create an awesome or maybe an OP deck . I have seen asking many new players for cards for free and some even send ridiculous offers . So i think that this will somehow help new players in a great way .

Actually you get boosters from daily login once a week making a total of 4 booster which a players get in a month so how can you say that someone will get a booster daily from login bonus . And i believe PTCGO officials do have a good tracking system if a players creates more than 1 account and any suspicious activity done by them will not get unnoticed and i am sure that they will get a ban in this game .

I think we get a booster on fifth day from the starting day so it will be 6 boosters per month .

My main motif of having tradeable packs is to help new players so that they can get some good stuff for themselves. I don't promote farming of packs in anyway here and i believe players are enough honest here that they will not do such an evil activity of creating multiple accounts to just farm the packs through daily login bonus or any other way they receive the boosters .

haha. you really think that no one will perform these "evil actions" after we saw situation with combee/phionie/scoop up decks?

5 accounts=1 pack per day. more accounts - more packs.

Not true, the mods of the game know about people that have several different accounts, and no nothing about it when it's blatantly obvious that it's the same people on different accounts.

 

I agree that we should give new players a way to be able to trade packs (or even cards) early on. This obviously helps them trade cards I'm a TRADING CARD GAME. I do see the validity of the counter argument (New players wouldn't know what a "Fair" trade is, and might be more easily swindled) but that's still on the players' hands (Both the shady players and new players) to be fair and smart with these cards.

plus after tpci_samhayne's comment that it was "naïve" to think that people wouldn't overuse winners wheel, I doubt they'd make such an easy way to give out packs again- which I personally think so too.. they shouldn't

 

not sure if anyone remembers this, but they did something of the sorts way back in September when they released free codes for booster packs.. i'm sure they all thought- it's a one time thing.. 20 packs? who gives.. and each person made some 20 accounts and pulled some 400 packs out of it each..

 

now if you extrapolate this, to get 20 packs a day- which is quite a large amount- a person would need to make 100 accounts.. considering they're only logging in- lets take that as 30 seconds an account-> 30*100= 3000/60= 50 minutes..

 

now if you compare that to battling? that'd take like 10+ hours? there is no way we can maintain this kind of thing, and the instant load that the server would gain would probably cause another almost immediate maintenance

 

also there are two reasons for giving out locked packs- to protect the value of unlocked packs for the "buyers" and to protect the cards of the new players- both of which I don't think needs disturbing

Poplar]  all they will do it destroy the economy which is an important part of a trading card game.  The sentiment that people want more tradeable packs for free is a GIVEN.  there is no need to post a suggestion every week.  not that I am against you voicing your obvious opinion of course, I am just pointing out its futility.

While I don't think making all trade-locked packs tradeable would be a feasible option, I can certainly pass your thoughts along to the Dev team for them to do with as they will.

why is it that people mentioning 'disciplinary actions' that imply you are able to track people's multiple accounts all get left in, but valid arguments against it explaining how it is technically impossible are all removed by the mods for mentioning 'disciplinary actions'?  that's a pretty biased moderation there.

etc.  those are directly talking about disciplinary actions and making wrong assumptions, while general theorizing on how its impossible to police cheater behavior applicable to the thread topic are removed?  do mods read and comprehend things or just randomly delete things.

it's pretty risky to say that.. but I also kinda think the same way..

 

when the "disciplinary actions" are being used as a positive on every thread, shouldn't we be allowed to use it as a negative too?

 

this conversation looks very very different from when my comment was over there and only because one of the biggest reasons of going against it has been removed (pardon me for the pun, but our trump card has been removed)

Sorry, such rewards would not be made tradeable.

 

If you are looking for tradeable boosters, I would encourage you to collect Tournament Tickets, build a good deck and go for it!
