HG SS Theme Deck?

I am not 100% sure that I understand this properly.

 

The previous pack was ~750 for 3 packs and 3 pokemon?

Now, for 1265, you can buy 1 HS (Heart Silver?) Theme Deck, 1 Foil Machamp, 1 Nidoking chain and 3 packs...

 

I can get 2.5 theme decks OR 13 card packs for the same price.

I have to be missing something, right? Is the machamp worth 500 gold? or is the theme deck never being sold again?

 

p.s. I have 1 Xerneas deck so far.
Should I buy 1 more Xerneas deck then a Sylveon deck or the other way around?

Would buying a second Xerneas deck give me 2 Xerneas decks in Trainer Challenger, allowing me to get another pack for 12 wins?

Firstly it is a repeated bundle and the theme deck is pretty good --> Royal Guard and secondly never buy 2 of same theme decks. It will result in the loss coins and nothing else..

1. You can only get 13 5-card packs, so a safer assumption would be, that you could buy 6.5. packs for the prize.

 

2. Bundles that include cards/packs/Theme Decks from the XY Series onwards and even the BW series and owrads are sold cheaper, because the content of the packs are less valuable.

For example, HGSS packs include cards like: Primes, Pokemon Legends, HGSS Trainer, HGSS Energy, etc.
