Update - Lysandre (flash fire) included in Ancient origins expansion

___________________________________________

A good news for all , probably the same reprint of lysandre from flash fire expansion is included in english ancient origins expansion (aka bandit rings) . Currently i believe that no FA supporters are included in ancient origins since none of them was found in bandit rings .

Excellent news for our Night Marchers, I to occasionally use this deck, we have a replacement for Flareon when it rotates out........Vispiquen {G} (10/98 Ancient Origins) has basically the exact same attack as Vengeance called: Bee Revenge.

a {C}{C} attack for 20+ 10 more for each Pokemon in your discard pile.

This also means that it's a very very strong counter to Toad and the Primals as they are weak to grass types and Vispiquen is grass and it'll be easy to push its damage to a base 100 just you could with Flareon.  Also it only has 90HP so it'll be searchable with Lv Ball.

Hopefully vespiqueen is going to cause a lot of trouble if combined with viluplume (item lock) and probably with new ability eevolutions weakness will play its major game :( .

Latest News - Skyla Promo For XY8 Purchases

___________________________________________

Those who purchase two booster boxes of XY8 in Japan will receive a full art, holographic Skyla promo. The poster says the card will be a reprint of the existing Skyla, but with brand new artwork. It also says Skyla was chosen because she is a popular Gym Leader.

Hopefully 95/98 of ancient origins will be either Full Art Steven or promo FA skyla :) .

That Skyla is very unlikely to be released in any of the English sets, at least any time soon anyway.

SImply being that FA Steven was received by Japan earlier, and right now there is just news of Skyla promo, not even released there yet.

Although Skyla is hardly used nowadays, and probably would be the same in the next format, I would not get my hopes up.

If it indeed has a chance of being released, it probably wont be before XY9 or XY10 for us.

Update - Pikachu-EX From ‘Legendary Holo Collection!’

___________________________________________

Pikachu-EX from Legendary Holo Collection has been revealed! It is card #008/027.

I think this is the first evolving Basic Pokemon we’ve had as an EX in a long time (it’s like making Bellsprout-EX instead of Victreebel-EX). It’s not even a joke card, either. And there’s no Raichu-EX yet. But rules don’t apply to Pikachu. Ever.

[L][C][C] Over Spark: 50x damage. Discard all [L] Energy attached to this Pokemon. This attack does 50 damage times the number of [L] Energy discarded in this way.

When a Pokemon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

In Expanded format this will easily replace Rayquaza in RayEels as {F} won't be needed with {L} to power up that big damage.  In Standard unless something like Dynomotor or Metal Links returns to {L} decks I'm not sure this will be very playable.  M Manectic might be able to to pair up with it and slap on {L} with Turbo Bolt but then you've got a deck completely Weak to a single type [Fighting]....so I guess the question would be, would the damage output from Turbo Bolt and Over Spark be enough to over come the Weakness or will Fighting decks be an auto loss as a trade off to being good against just about every thing else for that high damage output.

Or another question would be.....will Pikachu-EX be too fragile with its 130HP that even if it made an OHKO, is the trade worth it to easily be OHKO'd by most EX's and Non-EX's alike?  Something I'm willing to test out though....I mean if Night March can do well when everything in that deck gets OHKO'd then I'm sure this will do just fine.

Ooooh looks like Standard just got a New RayEels in the form of Tyrantrum-EX and Bronzong......the deck will be exactly the same thing:

An odd energy, in this case Fighting instead of Fire, 3 Metal Energy attached by Metal Links and/or Energy Attachment for the turn.....hit for 190.

The retreat cost is a little heavy and with Keldeo-EX and Float Stone rotating out of Standard the deck might just need Hyrdragon-EX with Dragon Road ability to reduce the retreat cost to 1 or 0.

Go Dragons!!!

Well that's gonna be an amazing idea , no safeguard can counter tyrantrum but mega's still have a upper hand over basic EX . And keeping 2 hydreigon in your deck will force you to keep skyfield in your deck as well but coz of OP AO cards i.e , paint roller can easily discard any stadium card.

If float stone and keldeo remains then its good for tyrantrum otherwise it will heavily affect one's deck .

Well night marchrs and pikachu-EX are a lot different worlds. Night march are not EX and can easily deal OHKO's using discarded night marchers but pikachu even after dealing any OHKO can be badly hurt by any other EX if such situation occurs where your opponent is using heavy EX counter or evolved fighting types i.e , medicham or excadrill etc . Rayquaza (Dragon burst) is far much better coz he can deal a massive 240 damage and can free retreat using a single hydreigon or sky arrow bridge against any mega though   :) .

Latest News - 'Pokémon Shuffle' Mobile Version Coming To iOS, Android This Year

___________________________________________

The super popular Nintendo 3DS game "Pokémon Shuffle" will be headed to your smartphones. It was announced that the puzzle game will come to Android and iOS platforms later this year. This game is a direct port of the free to play title currently available for 3DS.

In "Pokémon Shuffle Mobile," your goal is to clear various stages by lining up the same Pokémon and clearing these matches from the puzzle area. Within each puzzle stage, you can deal damage to the wild Pokémon you face by lining up three of the same Pokémon to clear them. Battle and try to catch the Pokémon before you run out of moves.

Serebii reports Japan will start running a special Beta Version on Android platforms from June 30 to July 14 2015 for the first 10,000 users with a full release of the game coming later in the year.

We'll bring more on this title as it becomes available.

Latest News - ‘CoroCoro’ Reveals New Pokemon For Next Year’s Film

___________________________________________

CoroCoro has revealed screenshots from the teaser trailer for 2016’s Pokemon movie, which will show after the Hoopa movie plays in theaters. The screenshots appear to show a new Pokemon, though it is silhouetted (of course).

We still need Zygarde and Volcanion in a film, and Zygarde is likely getting featured next because of Pokedex number, so this new Pokemon could just be a new forme of Zygarde. Thousand Arrows and Thousand Waves, two moves programmed into X and Y, are expected to be the signature moves of Zygarde’s new forme(s). Both are Ground-type attacks, and this new Pokemon certainly looks like a colossal Ground-type. Not to mention it’s just obvious Zygarde will be the mascot of the next game(s), like Rayquaza, Giratina, and Kyurem before it.

The text over the silhouette asks, “Is this a new Pokemon?” Since we don’t consider Giratina Origin Forme or Black and White Kyurem new Pokemon, the implication behind this question seems obvious. (Why question if it’s a new Pokemon, especially when its design doesn’t match any existing Pokemon? Because it’s probably not a new Pokemon, as would be the logical conclusion. It’s a forme.)

If you ask me it kinda looks like they mashed Groot and Zekrom together with some Evangelion thrown into it. :P
