2006-2007 tournament deck

i just wanted to show this deck to people cause i went to a locals the other day (i played in the tournament with a trevanent ex beatdown deck i got 4th but thats not what i wanted to show you) and i brought my old tournament deck that was based around the holon engine and the most efficient way to use it, its basically centered around holon transceiver, dragonite ex, and insane card advantage. im talking like turn 3 15 cards in hand. well let me tell you something

 

the old decks still got some life in em

 

i wen 4-2 against virizion genesect, and 3-3 against primal groudon, and 3-3 against seismitoad lock (although to be fair that was a little unfair seems how the old trainers werent referred to as items so it didnt really affect me)

 

so heres the deck list and i know that the percentage of energies and pokemon might be considered too high but you gotta remember youre thinking in today's standard meta, not 2007 and yes kids once upon a time ex's used to have to be evolved (unless they were already basic) and they werent all basic like they are today

I got some of these cards in real life, those cards before were better cause they were not too overpowered. The ideal damage for a good pokemon should be a bit more than twice the number of energy attached to it. For this reason i liked playing the old game cause cards r not overpowered like exs being basic and getting hp 180. One of my favourite card was holon explorer which let u draw 3 cards by discarding a card from hand and 4 if discarding a delta species card
