News on Android release?

Hey guys,

 

I bought a booster pack on a whim today and the online redemption card you get in them made me remember that there's a way to play the game online!

 

I've recently started playing another well known card game on my tablet and its such a flawless joyful experience that I thought id look to see whether the PTCGO had a tablet client and to my dismay its for IOS only. Obviously this super bummed me out but I assumed an android version would be on the way? I've done some research and there's so little information on whether there will or won't be an android version that its honestly baffled me.

 

So, is there any news? Have they stated its in the works? Do they not plan on making a client for android based tablets? It'd be shame if that's the case. I guess I'm just looking for any information?

Currently, we do not have any news regarding the Pokémon TCG Online coming to Android or any other devices. However, in the past the Dev team has mentioned that they would like to work toward making the game compatible with as many devices as possible for the future. I'd recommend checking back every now and then, as any news regarding new versions of the game would most definitely be posted on the forums!

 

I'll submit your feedback to the Dev team as well. Thanks for your input!

I'd also like to see this on IPhone. But that would kill battery and bandwidth completely.

But that's the same problem with Android. If they do Android, they should do iPhone.

 

I would vote for iPhone/iOs first, b/c I'm biased   . You can play on wifi and charge your phone if needed.

They already have an iPad (iOS) version.  They probably won't make a client for phones and small tablets because of the small screen size.

That's what we said about Ipad, and I'd still like to see it on Iphone, but it's very difficult on such a small screen.

 

Besides, its not like phone screens are getting any smaller any time soon.

I'd love to be able to play PTCGO on my android tablet instead on the PC; I can carry the tablet with me anywhere when the laptop is too big and heavy.
