Manectric-EX and Maxie's Hidden Ball Trick

I was in a match and my opponent hit my Active Phanpy with Manectric's Overrun attack. I also had a benched Phanpy. The attack only did damage to my benched Phanpy and my Active Pokemon was left with Full HP.

Also, I believe the ruling on Maxie's/Archie's Hidden Ball Trick is that you can pull any fighting/water type Pokemon from your discard pile to your bench including Stage 1, Stage 2 and Mega, so long as you have an open spot on the bench and the Supporter is the last card in your hand. I only had one card in my hand (Maxie's Hidden Ball Trick) and I had a Mega Groudon EX and a Donphan in my discard. I had 2 spots open on my bench as well. I was not able to play my Maxie's Hidden Ball Trick for some reason. It had worked before this update.

For the double-Phanpy thing, Phanpy has a -20 resistence to Lightning, and Overrun does 20 to the Active, so unless that Manectric had a Muscle Band or something, that's not a bug.

Hi MTGPhazer,

Does SharKing319's explanation of your incident with Phanpy sound accurate?

Regarding your report of Maxie's Hidden Ball Trick, we were unable to replicate this. Selecting this card allowed both Mega/Primal evolutions and Stage 2 Pokémon to be selected from the discard pile. There were also no problems selecting the card. Is it possible that there was an effect blocking the use of Supporter cards, such as Krookodile's Bother attack? If not and you have any more information, please let us know.

Thanks for your reports and your patience!
