Customised theme deck?

I was playing theme deck tournaments this weekend and I came across a few players with plain coloured deck covers, and cards I did not expect to see.

 

If I clone a theme deck it usually does not match standard requirements, and also does not show up under the theme tab.

 

Is this a bug, or can you customise a theme deck?

This is actually report #2 on the matter (within the same week, too), so yes there is definitely a problem with Theme format matchups.  File a support ticket, making sure to include as much information as you can (time/date, player name, so on) because fixing it will require digging.

 

Just to be clear, Theme decks appearing in Standard matchups aren't actually much of an issue (many Theme decks are Standard compliant already), but vice versa -- Standard/etc. decks appearing in Theme matchups -- is.

I should have written it down after the second time it happened.

 

I also had a couple people that keep being disconnected, but I have learned that they may have been disconnecting on purpose to glitch the game.

I played a versus game today against another odd deck.

It had a red top and white bottom deck box

There were fight, electric and colourless in the deck

Some of the Pokémon included, bidoof, tynamo, linoone groudon throh and bouffalant.

 

I checked online about the basic yellow basic orange and power relay decks since I do not have them. None of those decks have that combination of Pokémon in them.

 

Before I make a report I just want to be sure there are no theme decks that include those cards.

I played a versus game today against another odd deck.

I don't believe so.

 

But this makes theme a little more interesting, but the big bad EX? No. (Unless you're playing one of the Tin theme decks, which need to be theme decks, by the way)
