Pancham ....Why u no evolve ;_;

Ok, Today i was playing theme deck tournament and in one of my game i had a chance to evolve my pancham with it's attack "Bad-Influence Evolution" which states that

If you have any {D} Pokémon on your Bench, search your deck for a card that evolves from this Pokémon and put it onto this Pokémon. (This counts as evolving this Pokémon.) Shuffle your deck afterward.

and i had a scraggy on my bench. then my deck opened for me to find a card that evolves from Pancham. After selecting Pangoro my turn ended and pancham didn't even evolved ...

I lost the tournament because of that..... Please fix this bug ;(

i got the first turn so  i couldn't attacked him then he got his first turn with attack and on my second turn this happened.... and i do think that pancham can evolve on first turn because  there is no such thing written on the effect that "You cant evolve him on first turn" !!!

its not a bug, if u are player who got 1st turn u can only evolve that pokemon in 2nd turn, was it your 1st turn in that game?...

I'm pretty sure you *can* use this attack on your first turn (assuming you're going second) or the turn you played Pancham since it's not the usual mechanic of playing a card from your hand to evolve and there's no restriction listed on the attack (a la Evosoda http://www.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-tcg/pokemon-cards/xy/xy1/116/).

its similar to that of evolving a pokemon, thats why u can't evolve in 2nd turn, if u are the first player playing the game...

I have never played Pancham before but it's to my understanding that it's attack is similar to that of Eevee's evolution ability where you're allowed to evolve it on your first turn.

Yes, Pancham may use Bad-Influence Evolution to evolve on its first turn of play, however, there were reports of it not working properly if used on Pancham's first turn of play (it works fine during subsequent turns).

...But I thought they fixed this already?  It was happening back during the Furious Fists release, but it's been two expansion sets since then.

Whose first turn, yours or Pancham's?

If you use Bad-Influence Evolution and you select a Pangoro from your deck but Pancham does not evolve then that is a bug, period.  One which tends to happen only if you use it on the same turn you put Pancham into play.  And one which was supposedly fixed during the last expansion.

With a few exceptions, and I believe Pancham is one of them.

Hey there!

This was a known issue that has now been resolved, so I'll be closing this thread.
