Is a "ANY" button for trades possible?

When you create a trade you say "I want this, I am giving that".

There are many different versions of some cards. Let's use Skyla as an example. There is the plain, the shiny, the pokemon club and the shiny one of that and the full art.

 

If I didn't care about the type but just wanted the card for use in the game, it would be nice to have a "ANY" tag to put on the card. That way it would open the trade up to people with any version of that card to see instead of only the ones with one exact type.

 

There have been trades that were unavailable to me since I had the wrong type of the card but I wondered if it was because they had to make a specific choice.

 

If a person is looking for a certain card they could still leave the trade as usual, indicating they only want that card..

I think thats a good idea, if there isn't something like that already in place, I also feel the same sometimes i dont really care if it is a holo etc...

I was just thinking that when I was trying to trade some night march cards for "any pack" but decided to just pick phantom forces because I thought it would give me the highest chance of making the trade. I had to exclude the people that could trade a PC or furious fists pack. In an addition to an "any button" an or button would be helpful.

just read in the other forum here in a sticky that there is a possibility of tradeable gems. that would to some degree solve all these problems and be much easier to implement. since you'd just trade for gems and use gems to get 'any' cards u want. the problems described here are unique to the bartering system in place right now.
