Three bugs concerning cards in the Enchanted Echo Theme deck

I'll just list the bugs:

1. Accelgor's Afterimage Strike immunity effect gets trespassed by Muscle Band's additional damage (thus Accelgor still receiving 20 damage even when Afterimage Strike has been successful)

2. Eevee's Ability doesn't allow one to select whether one wants to activate it once an energy has been attached to Eevee, thus always making one browse the deck. This results in rearranging the cards' order when one should be able to choose not to do so (which can render some other powers or cards useless or less effective, unnecessarily)

3. Clefable's Moonblast doesn't completely deny moves that deal 30 damage (thus still receiving at least 10 damage even when the foe is debuffed)

There you go.

Edit: The client version is 2.23.0.822.Live.7520:70#306

The long version, as asked from Prof_Snow, of the reports would be:

1)

Card: Accelgor

Card Number: Furious Fists #9

Expected Action: Afterimage Strike should deny damage dealt by attacks if, during the attack's resolution, Accelgor's side flips heads.

Actual Action: Krookodile (Black & White #65), with a Muscle Band attached, uses its Torment attack, and deals 20 damage to Accelgor.

Steps to Reproduce: Attach a Muscle Band to Krookodile and attack Accelgor. Accelgor must have used Afterimage Strike in his previous turn, and Afterimage Strike's secondary effect must be successful. Try with different attackers (other than Krookodile) to find out whether the bug is only given with Krookodile or not.

2)

Card: Eevee

Card Number: Furious Fists #80

Expected Action: Energy Evolution should ask whether the player wants to search his or her deck for an Evolution card that evolves from Eevee when an Energy card is attached from his or her hand to Eevee.

Actual Action: The Ability works automatically, not allowing the player to choose not to do the action.

Steps to Reproduce: Attach a basic Energy card (can't be Fighting or Metal types) to Eevee. The description says the player "may", not "must".

3) UPDATED/CORRECTED

Card: Clefable

Card Number: Furious Fists #71

Expected Action: Moonblast attack should lower the next opposing Pokémon's damage done by an attack by 30.

Actual Action: Damage is instead lowered by 20.

Steps to Reproduce: Use Moonblast against an opposing Pokémon with an attack that deals at least 30 damage. Then, attack Clefable with that Pokémon. Also, try attaching Muscle Band to a Pokémon with an attack that deals 10 damage, since, as realized in the Accelgor's report, this Pokémon Tool seems to work incorrectly when interacting with immunities.

I agree, this can cause problems if you've previously used a Pokedex or similar card that lets you arrange your top # cards in a desired order.

Instead, when you attach an Energy to Eevee (that matches a type of Eeveelution possibly in your deck), a simple yes/no prompt would suffice (e.g. "Would you like to search your deck for a [energy type] evolution of this Pokemon?"). Alternately, the "Use Abilities" option could become available for Eevee during that turn. (Personally, I think the latter option is better, though it may be more tricky to code....)

Just thought of an other way Eevee's ability could be handled:

When you attach an Energy to Eevee during the current turn, its "Use Ability" option becomes available (for that turn only), and you click on that to search your deck for a type of Eeveelution matching the Energy you just attached (in a similar manner to using Plasma Freeze Electrode's Magnetic Draw or XY Delphox's Mystical Fire abilities, which can only be invoked if you have < the stated number of cards in your hand).

Hello Trainers,

I'd just like to note that your third report is a known issue which the Dev team is already looking into. :) Regarding your first two reports, as we have now sent those in for investigation as well, I'll be closing this thread. Please feel free to create a new thread or submit a ticket via the link in my signature if you come across any other issues.

Thanks for your reports! :)
