This deck will be for the new Phantom Gate expansion, this is what i think would be a good deck list. However idea on what to change/add will be happily accepted!

Pokemon-18

4-4 Gourgeist PG

4 -Lampent PG

4 -Joltik PG

4 -Celebi EX BC

Trainer-30

3 -Battle Compressor (PG)

3 -Ultra Ball

2 -Evosoda

3 -Muscle Band

3 -Switch

1 -Town Map

3 -Skyla

3 -Professor Juniper/Sycamore

3 -Tierno/Cheren

3 -Shauna

3 -Dimensional Ravine (PG)

Energy-12

4 -Double Colorless Energy

8 -Grass Energy

Strategy: Night Correspondence works a bit like round. IT does 20x number of pokemon with night correspondence in your discard pile. Joltik and Lampent both know this move while Pumpkaboo is the main attacker. Though the attack costs 3 colorless energy the cost can be reduced to 2 by the stadium. Combine this with Celebi EX that makes your evolutions remember it's previous attacks so you can utilize Gourgeist's ability to boosts its HP to the massive 200. In addition the new trainer in this set -Battle Compressor- can discard any 3 cards in your deck to help get the pokemon in the discard pile.

All in all this deck may be simple and playable, if u have any idea to make this deck better in any way feel free to comment below!

You don't need that many celebi ex (2 at max would be fine, 1 would probably work too) and you really should play some Ns. Also a computer search/dowsing machine would allow you to discard more cards as well (besides you aren't playing an Ace spec atm). Playing a silver bangle could also be a good choice on exs who have 170 hp. 7*20 = 140 + 30. Also consider adding a hypno laser or two, since people do play virbank and it can help you take an extra 30 damage now and then. And since Night Correspondence on gourgeist takes 3 energy and if you play 4 double colorless, you really don't need to play 3 dimensional ravines.

Also 6 grass energy + 4 dce would work and allow you to add megaphones, which you kind of need considering gourgeist's ability and celebi ex. Also Lysandre, a good card to have in any deck - but especially in decks that should target garbodor down I feel 1 or 2 are needed too. A potentially random card that might fit in this deck is hugh, it forces you to discard cards in your hand until you have 5 cards left/or draw until you have 5 cards - just something to add to the discard power.

I would do the following:

(-2) celebi ex

(-1)Dimensional Ravine

(-2) Grass energy

(-3) Tierno

(-1) Evosoda

(-1) Town Map

(-1) Muscle Band

(-1) Shauna

= (-12)

------

Additions:

(+1) Silver Bangle

(+1) Computer Search

(+1) Hypnotoxic laser

(+4) N

(+1) Juniper

(+1) Ultra Ball

(+1) Lysandre

(+2) Megaphone

= + 12 additions

The main weakness of this deck is Yveltal EX, but Joltik saves the day :P

Yup running one galvantula may not be that bad atleast it wont be one shot by Baby Yveltal

True about Galvantula, but he's still really weak @ 80 HP..lol. I was "thinking out loud" about this deck somewhere else, and Virizion-EX came to mind. Virizion and the Grass Energy he wants to spread around would go great with Gourgeist, and with Dimensional Ravine it would be simple to load up Gourgeist - not that 2 turns to attach a DCE + Grass is so terrible, there are plenty of Tank options including Gourgeist himself. Max Potion would also go well with Gourgeist. Something like:

Pokemon - 24

2 Virizion-EX

2 Celebi-EX

4 Joltik (PG)

4 Pumpkaboo (PG)

4 Gourgeist (PG)

4 Lampent (PG)

2 Eevee (PLF 90)

2 Flareon

Trainer - 26

1 Dowsing Machine

2 Professor Sycamore

3 Shauna

2 Evosoda

3 Switch

4 Roller Skates

2 Bicycle

2 Battle Compressor

3 Ultra Ball

3 Dimensional Ravine

Energy - 11

4 Double Colorless Energy

8 Grass Energy

Will need to refine once set is released & cards are actually around to be used, but deck seems fun already.

Dedenne to help with Yveltal & Yveltal-EX, and Max Potion would be nice...not much room in here, though! Evosoda will likely get booted for Potions, and a Celebi for Dedenne.

The deck list is okay but one concern is that you cut so many cards that we only have 5 draw power supporters, if it was played like this it would be very slow, not to mention that some supporters might be prized
